You know something that would keep me coming back to the campaign would be putting challenges in campaign that would award XP towards the battle pass I know the stuff in the battle pass can’t be used in campaign but I am hoping maybe at least a year from now that some of it can at least the vehicle and weapons skins. Another thing would be skulls more skulls ones that can increase the difficulty ones that are awesome and cool and one’s that can make the gameplay a little funny oh another that I almost forgot terminals the audio logs are pretty good but also enjoy some video terminals in the game Why will know one respon to this
its working better if you can replay all the 14 missions again and then make it more so that the challenge can be more like:
defeat Tremonius in 5 sec’s or less on legendary
same you can do with all the other boss’s but not with Adjutant Resolution and part 2 in the few sec’s challenge
or compleet that mission on legendary in less then x time.
or compleet that mission with this type skulls on.
or compleet X missions on legendary.
or defeat that type enemy or defeat x time the enemy’s in the game.
or destroy that type vehicle time x or destory time x vehicles.
or use x vehicle to defeat x time the enemy.
yeah probably co-op…
I do not do any of that heroic or legendary crap my challenges would be simple ones like in the MCC
I can see them adding campaign challenges once a mission select is added, but until then it’d be just simple challenges that can be completed anywhere, like kill so many brutes etc. It’d also have to be a seperate list for those who haven’t purchased the campaign.
but MCC also has some heroic or legendary challenges you can do so why not also for halo infinite.
its not always has to be on normal difficulty always.
Things they should add to campaign -
More distinct and interesting open world components - every FOB looks the same
More characters from previous canon
Assassinations
More biomes
Environmental storytelling
Actual mjolnir components in the armor lockers
I’d like to see some community campaign challenges, something like kill one million banished in a week to unlock this helmet and have it run over a few weeks so you unlock a complete armour core.
Also more end game stuff for when you finish the campaign, how about a weekly HVT you have to track down across the map.
The open world idea is sound, it’s just there’s nothing to do once you complete the game.
Leaving aside the big stuff like new biomes, islands and factions:
Co-Op
Mission replay - at least for the Dungeons
Some kind of wave assault challenge mission that you can go back to.
New Banished enemies. Plenty in HW2 to mine. For example the Hunter Prime and those flying drone machines they use. Locusts. Goblins.
New UNSC vehicles. Mantis. Cyclops
New weapons. Too many to count. They could also have you unlock these by new challenge bosses.
More roving enemies in general and different kinds of roving enemies like Wraiths, Hunters and the like.
Challenge bosses that are spawned in after main campaign. Think like World Boss type stuff.
As others have said, campaign XP challenges like you had in Reach. To give direction to some of your hunting.
Marines can drive vehicles and follow you around.
Marines can get on side of tank
Additional marine ally types. Again HW2 has many already. Flamer, sniper. Etc Plus ODST being an obvious missing one.
there are all good idea’s but there is 1 i really never ever hell no wane see any more in the halo serie’s more and thats this idea.
this was the worst thing ever in all the old halo titels there have done and the most hell thing there was.
AI friendly Marines or spartans are the worst hell drivers there are in the halo serie’s.
if you need a good lesson how to waste a vehicle fast in the halo campaign serie’s then you need to let then drive for sure if you wane waste it.
go play halo reach on mission 5 and let KAT drive the rocket hog you get and you will see how fast its destroy.
same on mission 2 let then drive and you will see how fast its destory.
Yes I know the MCC has some legendary challenges I just have a feeling if they added legendary challenges to infinite it’d be like these really ridiculous ones that I would have no chance in hell of completing
like what for type challenges you are thinking then?
if its with a boss like Tremonius, Chak 'Lok, Jega 'Rdomnai or Escharum to defeat then on legendary in few sec’s then its no problem at all since its super easy to defeat then all in few sec’s.

To put it simply I suck at legendary I have never defeated all the levels in any of the Halo games in legendary I tried over and over and over again let me see like I was going to have an aneurysm I would just have simple challenges like in the MCC kill so many enemies on normal or higher or maybe stick 50 enemies with plasma grenades normal or higher all the challenges I would put in Halo Infinite could be done on normal difficulty or higher so players who aren’t as good as some of you PvP players out there wouldn’t feel like they’re going to have an aneurysm basically most PVP players or really good and that’s why they can defeat the game on legendary I’m not that good and there’s other people out there that are not that good like myself but still enjoy Halo so I think there should be challenges that those people can get and making it where those challenges can be done on normal difficulty or higher that way those players anyways I’m trying to do them on her world or legendary wouldn’t feel like they’re going to have an aneurysm trying to do them on heroic or legendary
you know if you use the bandana skull your legendary run is becoming a lot easyer then without it.
since the bandana skull give’s you unlimit ammo.
that means more you can use for exemple a rocket launcher on all the enemy’s without picking up a new weapon.
and on a lot off bosses like bassus or the blade master can be defeat in a few sec’s with the coil pile trick more on legendary.
and LASO has also become super easy in halo infinite since off the bandana skull more.
LASO was something that has to become hard to compleet like in the older halo titels but in halo infinite its super easy to compleet it more.
I really had hoped for the campaign to stretch to multiple locations on the ring, given that there should be almost 10,000,000 Sq km of surface (minus the sections that have been destroyed). I thought they might have gone with something like the Destiny set up, with different areas accessible via Pelican, and you can go between them and there would be different missions/activities in each location.
Unfortunately, it seems that campaign is very much open world for the sake of it, and the missions are still fairly linear in their design, with the outposts and such tacked on to bulk it out.
Fingers crossed we get more locations to explore and they actually make use of the open world going forwards.
