Well I am writing this post because after playing Halo 5 and shooting people in the head 3-4 times before actually making a hit with a pistol in swat on the most boring halo maps of all time, I finally just had enough of these Half butt games that supposedly are AAA titles. I am currently learning how to code and use unity and have taking some college classes to maybe to create an pretty cool game not focused on making a quick buck but to give people a world and a story to follow/Explore. Yes I’m kinda off the main topic but hold for a moment as i explain my self in why i say the supposedly AAA titles are -Yoink!-. Yes i maybe ranting about losing a game on a video game but its how i loss that is upsetting me. I loss based on a head shot in swat. when head shots don’t count because either the server or the client lagged its unfair. regardless if i have crappy or good network. this was a problem in the beta I Had made a post about it several times so this makes me upset as a fan of halo since Halo 2 on “Xbox”. having paid for Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3:ODST, Halo Reach, Halo 4, Halo Master Chef Collection, and Halo 5. So when I complain on a form i dont complain much i didnt complain when halo 4 had the server issues at lunch nor did i complain on the low amount of armor in it nor did i complain on how halo reach had a horrible story line or how halo 5s story line ended horribly nor how halo 5 has no local multiplayer because someone thought graphics in halo 5 was more important i would rather be playing on a 720p 60fps with split screen with three of my friends than at 1080p with random in game animations (Bugs,Ships,ect…) alone with random people since xbox one had a huge flop so my friends went to ps4 and cant play the game with me. So My issue is if you have to keep the game on how it is can you at least fix the damn bugs in match making?
BUG 1 Head shots not counting, BUG 2 Ranking System based on game wins. (issues with this bug if you have a bad team and you go 20 kills and 5-10 deaths if you lose you lose so you’ll be in a group of people that suck and are unlucky aka Gold Rank it seems that Gold has a bit of every skill level aside the people getting 30-50 a game and on the flip side if you make 5 or less than Kills and 10+Deaths you shouldnt be ranking up with your team), BUG 3 Maps looking the same and some maps not having a good flow to it (being able to get around without less than 3 choke points or less than 3 advantage points) so my rant that has meaning but is kinda difficult read as im to upset at halo 5 to give a flying monkey to make it perfect.
also i probably should add the head shot issue wasnt in at release it seems to be showing up and then going away kinda every other update it seems to show up

he’s saying that since it’s not rated on K:D it’s not a true measure, which I don’t agree with. the only bug is the no headshot thing but that can be lag.
how is a ranking system be a measure of your skill if you can win as easily as you lose no matter how meany kills you get or how much you help a team?

yes it can show your super good or super bad not any gray area but wait even if that’s the case what if on a single game you get 48 alone points and the 4 players on the other team points add up to 50 maybe 10-15 each. but you died maybe once you still lose and this games terms of ranking means you sucked at the game no mater what.

or maybe your just to sucked up of a fan boy to believe the ranking system does NOT WORK? I want to believe too i really do i love halo my favorite game ever but still i cant stand up and convince my self that this -Yoink!--tastic ranking system is good.

I have had many games with shots not registering even if the person is not moving. How is this lag? I just finished uploading a clip from arena where a player throws a plasma grenade under his legs behind himself and magically hits me in the head. Is this lag also??? im sorry to respond with a harsh comment but i will not be treated like this. I clearly explained why the ranking system sucked and yet you insult me with a childish comment like that? I respect that you want to defend your ranking system as 343 has working really hard on it but if something sucks in a game it sucks no matter how hard you shove it down someones throat. if i owned a AAA game and people said from the community it has a bad mechanic as long as they explained why and had buck up from other people i would fix it not ignore the people that pay for the game and my living cost and extra things like sport cars and big houses. I would respect all the people that love my game. i also wouldn’t give it up to my boss if i had one. I wouldn’t give up. i would keep sending lawyers and i would spend every penny for my game with all my hard work.
If you’re really delving into code and unity then you shouldn’t be talking about what is or isnt a AAA game. You’re a beginner, nothing more. Rant about what you find wrong with the game all you want, but dont act like you’re on the same level as the game devs.

probably not but maybe if not lag its hacks
the problem is the user sees what the server sends the problem is its not always there so you see lag and you might die and it might skip some frames this is the problem in halo 5 i assume when you see the reply its not from your console its from the server

This is the truth. What a beginner can see and understand in Unity is far different from what is presented in a custom made engine.
The ranking system works perfectly fine using a win-or-lose approach. If you win more than 50% of your games you will move up (generally). If you lose more than 50% of your games you will go down to the bottom of your bracket. You win or lose as a team. Any other stat can be manipulated. Winning or losing is absolute.
