Things that need to be fixed/added. Consensus...

I would like to start this thread in order to organize and make our claims, qualms and wants viewed in a more efficient manner.

First off I’d like to lay some ground rules:

  • No flaming, or hateful dialogue. there are plenty of threads going around like that. - If you’re going to post something you hate…post a possible fix that is reasonable. - Exactly as stated above please try to keep it down to what it is you want to see with vehicles, weapons, skins, etc. - Try to be objective with your wants.The purpose here is to streamline our voices into one thread about the above, so that if by some miracle of the forerunner 343 does actually see this we get at least some wheels turning in those heads. I hope we can get atleast some of the topics we post to be dealt with or added. If you like to troll or enjoy trolls i’m sure there will be plenty…enjoy the show!

My list

  • Tanks are too weak and slow- give them a speed boost/ bring it back to having to blow off the hatch. - UNSC aircraft- there are plenty to choose from my personal choice would be the falcon with cannons this time. - 24 in BTB- I honestly thought that since there would be 24ppl in warzone we’d atleast get that in BTB. - Maps- We need more maps on the level of Sandtrap that are wide open and large…we finally have the numbers for it.

Remove ARC and rework it. It’s way too easy to grab the armory from the enemy team with in the first 5 mins. Also add some sort of counter measure for Warzone for when you get pushed back to your base. Like add something like Dominion from Halo 4 into the mix. Having turrets that activate when your core is vulnerable and still having shields on the doors but make them destructible like in Dominion. Also perhaps add other routes out of the base other than the two large death traps AKA the front doors. Also they said during The Sprint that they would/did rework Warzone so you wouldn’t have those “Alamo” moments in the game. That’s a flat out lie. The amount of game I play usually end with my team losing because there is no way we are able to leave our home base and at least try to capture another base. Honestly Warzone in general needs a tune up, it’s just become farming for Achilles.

Also adding the ability to sort armor pieces say like keep armor pieces I like a lot up front instead of running through my collection. It’s not a big deal but it would be a nice thing to have.

I’d like to see the addition of more classic Halo weapons. They brought back the BR 55, why not the Type-51 Carbine? I imagined it having a slower (though still fast) fire rate, but the ability to poison shieldless foes with the weapon’s radioactive rounds. A sort of “damage over time” effect that remains even if your shields recharge.

Awful Spawns: Redistribute spawns and tweak the current system so that you don’t spawn surrounded by the enemy or in a wall.
Maps are poor: Bring in community maps
Radar: expand it back to the Previous range.
Still would like KOTH, VIP, Juggernaut, and infection as well as oddball added into playlists.
User Interface: I would like to be able to see the medals post match along with basic stats. They added mute all which is helpful in the pre-match lobby, but I would still like to be able to see who is making noise and mute that individual.

Seriously 343 sadly there are some weasels online that exploit this and any other glitch in a game. Unsportsman like sweaty little Herbert’s that spawn camp and such like.

Not moaning Halo 5 keeps getting better, but these are real issues that need fixing imho.

I really like your idea of having turrets inside the base, maybe have them like the one on Meridian where they can be activated but can only cover certain areas to discourage spawn camping.

I was more thinking about keeping the turrets outside of the base to deter the enemy team from just sitting out front of the base.

ding ding ding, this is huge and i have been trying to make a thread about this issue but no one seems to care enough to leave a comment. Glad others feel the same way

Make non-ONI machine guns useful again. Seriously: its near impossible to use vehicle guns anymore.
Tone down the Gungoose a bit; those grenades are SERIOUSLY powerful. Like…stupidly so.
Dominion style Warzone/actual damn Dominion gametype. King of the Hill and Oddball while you’re at it too.
Commendations for the Gravity Hammer, CE Pistol and H2 BR (we got em for the SPNKr…)

And to be honest the Reach-style UI would be nice. Being able to see my Tool of Destruction and medals after the game would be good…as would being able to see what my team is at the start of the game other than just a bunch of random emblems.

UI, I would love to see an armor organization where I can pick say warrior and view all the variants from common to legendary, have the helmets in there as well. Req loadout picks, let me pick 2 weapons for each category per req level. This might speed up the req station a bit. Individual view pregame, so I can see each person, their armor, mute them, report them, stats on completion and from varios halos, and so on. Pre/post game stats including medals…halo 5 has some amazing medals I want to see them… I could go on and on but to sum up make it more like reach. There are a lot of awesome features missing from the stark, chaotic current UI. Oh and spelling organization and fix the pictures in forge/customs.

The only mode in which motion tracker is necessary is FFA. Everywhere else it is a crutch for poor players with no awareness that punishes people for making plays and rewards people for sitting still and crouching. It has absolutely no positive impact on the game and making it larger would make it even worse.

I disagree. As it stands someone with a sword or just outright spring at you from behind might not show up before you’re dead. That needs fixed. You still have crouch walking and advanced sensor if you don’t want to show up, but out right running and being able to avoid causing a blip is just silly.

We’ve also had radar since day one. Being able to use it is a skill in itself. Not every game type should play like slayer pro.
