this is more for the community. People complaining that this isn’t the old halo… it isn’t I can still go and play CE and have fun with that but infinite will never be it, and that is a good thing. IF you want copy paste squeals that have no changes go play CoD. Halo has always had a history of adding and removing things between games. Halo’s feel always remains intact.
I Know this will get flack but we see this every single new halo game. Come on vets complained about hijacking when it was announced for halo 2, now it is a staple feature. Halo reach was called out several times for its features, but the same people complaining about the weapons and features praised 343 for adding them to 5.
This happens every time there is a new halo, we get a lot of salt in the forums, people saying “this isn’t my halo” and stating they need to stop taking influence from other places or go back to the last game… the game jsut X years ago they where saying was the worst one.
Seriously, I get feed back, I get opinions like I don’t like X map or Y weapon. Personally I hate the shotguns in infinite. that said I would rather give constructive feedback then make a post like “Make a CoD game this isn’t halo.” People just stating blind hate are not helping they are just throwing salt and hoping someone will like their mad rambling.

Now if you will excuse me I will go back to campaigning for playable elites, and the locust to be added to an FPS halo.
And infinite is halo moving forward, its a mash up of all the things that made H2/3 successful while still giving players who want the AMM what they want as well
Like I keep saying, there is a very solid foundation to build upon with this technical preview and I actually find myself being excited for a halo for the frst time since what?..2006?
That said I fully expect and think that the game shouldbe/will be delayed again
Thank you for your insight. I agree about moving forward and shouldnt be a copy based thing just they need to take the wrong and the bad and make it better. Like everyone complaining about sprinting needing to be quicker i disagree i think sprint speed is fine now maybe a 5% increase but nothing more you dont want it to be too fast paced as that isnt halo. But i think the gunplay is good just some weapons need to be tweaked and maps are okay as of this moment. Live fire was my favorite while overcharge being my least favorite.
I hope it isn’t delayed again, but I wouldn’t be disappointed if it is. MY only request is if they do delay it again. Delay the campaign bring MP… hell even with the tech preview I would request they bring in a VS bots mode early and keep it up.
I honestly can’t think of another way 343 could have made Halo any more centred than what it is now. It has aspects of modern and classic. It’s blended masterfully and it’s something that is very hard to pull off, but they’ve done an amazing job. I’m not going to say other people’s opinions are wrong etc. They’re entitled to them, but I will defend 343 til I’m blue in the face. They deserve that much after giving us irrefutable evidence that they DO listen and DO care what we have to say. This game is looking to be exactly as they said it would be. A spiritual reboot.
