- What are the perfect kill times of the base weapons (BR, DMR, etc…)?
- How fast is base movement speed compared to the other games?
- How strong is auto aim and bullet magnetism compared to the other games?
- How does aim acceleration compare to the other games?
- What’s the melee system like?
- How do shields work as far as bleed-through?
- What’s the FOV like?
These are the subtle things that have changed every game that have affected the series the most and they are always the details that are the hardest to come by. Until we get these details everything else has to be taken with a large dose of salt; not just a grain.
All I really want to know is how high I can jump!
I’ll start small, a release date would be nice.
If their will be Limited and Legendary editions and if so what do they contain?

hmm
1: No info yet
2: Halo 3 (watch the trailer)
3: Lots of magnetism by the looks of it.
4: not sure
5: Most likely bleedthrough, but we have no info on that.
7: Reach/3 ish. ish.
I just want a Legendary Edition that I can pre-order. I’m fine finding out the answers to those Qs during playtime. lol =)
What is bleedthrough and FOV?
> What is bleedthrough and FOV?
FoV = Field of View, litterary how much you can see. Higher FoV is often required on small screens (PC gaming) since you’re really close, and higher FoV means you’ll see more.
Bleedthrough = damage passes through shield to health. If you shot a person for say 1/2 his shield, while he’s not managed to land a single hit on you but still goes for the melee, he’ll dies since he’s taken more damage (half shield + HP from melee) while you only loose your shield.

Probably not as high as a Spartan-II or III
Release date?
Will Forge have a terrain editor?
Will Spartan Ops be like Firefight? If not, will it be missions separate from multiplayer or similar to challenges from Reach where we perform so many kills or get so many wins in a week? (Just explain this already, lol)
Will there be any cats for BS Angel to play with in the game?
Yeah, I guess my point is that I don’t care about all the frill stuff like Forge or Firefight (which was boring as all get out) or any of that stuff as much as the core multiplayer experience. It’s just bizarre to me that this forum has a post of like 120-150 pages of people talking about Elites in multiplayer but hardly anyone is talking about this underlying stuff when it was what drives people insane when the game actually comes out.
Also, I don’t trust any videos about movement speed yet. I hope it’s faster though. The Anniversary playlists feel so nice compared to the all the other Reach playlists. I really hope Halo 4 recaptures that CE/Halo 2 game speeds and feels. It will probably destroy my already sub average KD ratio, but I don’t care; those games were so much better paced.
