What is Halo (for me)
To me halo is the greatest shooter series ive played. i loved the varriation in gameplay the skill,
the varriation from the most crazy costum games until mlg 4v4 competative. and literaly everything in between.
i loved it fact that is a skill full game may the best player win.
the fact that it was a basic shooter. although with the lots and lots of options to make it as crazy as you like.
the great skill it took, especaily in halo ce/2/3
- map control
map knowlegde
stafing
jumps
utility spawns
personal skill
i find that alot of those assecpts are going downwards.
Map knowlegde and map control
it shows everyone where the weapons spawn. i always found it great that you had to learn the map and spawn time in order to get good mapcontrol. if you would take the time in learning that you would have an advantage, a little investigation got rewarded. it wasnt hard to learn but you needed to put in a little effort.
as for map control i find that due costum loadouts. this is gone well not gone but descreased so to say. you can always spawn with equipment you need to take down enemies, for example if the enemy had a warthog up. you would need to pick up the plasma pistol and find some stickies to take it down and you had to hit it. now people can just spawn with stickes and try it over and over and over again.
costum loadouts make weapons to powerfull. for example the boltshot, if it wasn’t for costum load outs. it would have never been a real problem if could be one of the "power"weapons on the map. a weapon like the mauler was.
i think halo could use that great assecpt of utility spawns *in where everyone starts with the same weapon) great. Because for long range battles you could go and get a dmr or lightrifle and gain mapcontrol true map knowlegde.
it creates a higher level of teamwork. and causes better teamwork to have better map control.
I don’t want costum loadouts at all.
Armour abilities and speciliations
i don’t like Armour abilties and abilities specilisations enc…
in where every person can spawn with camo or prom vision. and that person has faster reloading that person can sprint for ever.
it does not fit halo. at all. now those abilities and maybe even armour abilies/equipment. can work as pickups.
i can see that for example awerness and a sniper would be a good combination. so in where if you where to go for the sniper pick up and anwerness.
you would have an advantage, and this again rewards teamwork and mapcontrol witch you would use in order to optain that combination.
powerups:
Camo. overshield, speedboost, damage boost,
those would work as pickups. like they where in halo 1, 2 and 3.
if you walk in the buble you optain it for 30 seconds or how long it is.
shortly said. have everyone spawn with the same weapon. (depding on gametype)
for example Team br’s have a br and a pistol or something like that.
and know and control the map in order to beat the living hell out of the other team…
personal skill. descoping
skill outside of teamwork skill such as mapcontrol and team shooting.
the personal skill. how good are you with the br or the sniper or how good is your strafe or you gandhi hop.
these things are still in halo, but due recent addons such as sprint, no descoping and to mutch aim assist. this has been lowerd by alot.
sprint takes aways skill because it prevents people form being punisched for making a mistake. the sprint double meele.
Yes it does make sense a spartan could sprint. but i don’t think it has to make sense because its a game and its sci fi. so gameplay > sense imo.
descoping
i remember someone saying that 343 had claimed this was a mistake :D.
i hope that is true.
because no descoping is a terrible idea, it makes sniping to easy, it takes away to skill from long range battles.
i think most of you agree that descoping is something that must return.
it again ads skill not just personal skill but also teamwork skill. because it will make teamshooting more efficaint.
the playlist.
i want both a ranked visible and a social playlist.
i think this deviveds the players, you have to more competive players would play ranked. the type that want to play a little more laid back can play social.
this will make it better for new people to get into the game. and it will keep the comptive community happy.
also don’t make to many,
combine them a little bit.
don’t have big team objective and big team slayer, have those 2 in one.
that also counts for other playlist.
an invastion playlist i think there are alot of people who would love to see that.
costum games
bring back more costum game settings.
even have the ability to change fire rates and damage for each gun. that way you can recreate other types of halo’s you could remake halo ce or halo 2, style gameplay, this will create so mutch varriation what makes halo so great.
take the costum setting from reach and take it a step futher.
i would like the ability to have open costum games in where everyone can join.
and you can force equal teams, to you can play and share your own made forge maps.

halo 4 lacked alot of gametypes.
assualt.
1 flag/bomb
stockpile
headhunter.
juggernaut
vip
race
invasion
bring it back and make up some new onces. i find extraction to be great!.
in basic what i would like is a halo game like this.
weapons[/size
bring back some of the older weapons such as:
the bruteshot. the mauler, spiker, smg, plasma rifle, needle rifle.
and older vehicles such as the chopper, the sceptre, hornet/falcon.
utility spawns,
remove sprint.
add descoping.
lower the aim assist.
make abilities pick ups. (or don’t do them at all) i think it would work as a pick up.
duel wielding ( now i dont mind duel wielding but so many people want it)
elties/races. (im fine as long as there is no advantage when you play -Yoink- an elit or spartan keep it equal).
social and ranked.
