Thing's I NEVER want to see in a Halo Game EVER

Top of my list for things that should never be in a Halo game EVER. #1 EMOTES, I never want to see a dancing, twerking, fist pumping, taunting Spartan, let’s leave that to lesser mortals, besides 117 just wouldn’t like it.

I actually would love this. I’m a big fan of Destiny and when I survive a round of infection in Halo I find myself pressing the dance emote button only to be disappointed :frowning:

Absolutely. That would be terrible.

Eh, it works in destiny because there is social space, the tower i think where people just mess about anyway.
I prefer dark souls emotes. There much cooler. There are some wacky ones but some are really good for communication with other players.

Maybe some sort of point emote but other then that I don’t see it working.

Reminds me of the old bro fist victory pose for Halo 5s arena, I would be ok with emotes as long as they were beneficial or for Machinima only.

And this is the same mentality that got Halo ADS, sprint and clamber in the first place. It was also the same logic applied that resulted in flinch, ordnance, perks and loadouts.

We NEED twerking Spartans. Its in the books. In the Fall of Reach after John beats up those ODSTs Mendez puts on a sick beat so John can twerk in victory. Some believe this preceeded the T-Bag but no one can officially confirm.

Im being told that i may remember this incorrectly.

This does make sense. These Spartans are elite soldiers that are fighting to protect the galaxy. They don’t have time to dance.

I can only see this working at the end of the winning cinematic for arena, kind of similar to how doom does it. As long as the emotes arent completely stupid, then id be ok with them i guess.

Pro sports MLG crap. When ever I see a game get that kind of attention it just makes me hate it.

Unreal Tournament was awesome to bust out some dance moves as the winner. I like how everyone relates it to Destiny…

Master Chief has been known to dance and let his hair down every now and again.

I also played LOTS of destiny till they(Bungievision) tried to sell me the same game TWICE, if I ever saw someone emoting I would bump them off the tower. Having said that an in game social area would be good for Halo, when I played Reach there was always tons of chat and ribbing on mic, I kind of miss that, there’s not a lot of chat on Halo 5.

Having hand signal ones would be pretty cool. We already have a directional ping thing and a one-click order feature in campaign, why not give hand animations for it too? Like in Republic Command. And you could turn them on or off in Custom Games (or make it only certain people, or what have you). Would RULE for machinima cause you could actually have a tactical style unit, hand movements included.
No actual taunts or crap though, we dont need that. Well, MAYBE a salute, little tip of the that you can do in-game to thank someone who just saved your bacon.

Too late for that…

Emotes are lame. They don’t belong in halo unless you’re pointing (like people have said above). I agree with ya.
