Things I have never understood

Why are there brutes in Reach and not Halo 1?

What happened to skirmershers for the rest of the halos?

  1. Thel’s fleet had no Brutes in it. The Brutes that attacked New Alexandria were likely of another fleet.

  2. Skirmageddon.

Apparently the skirmishers went extinct on Reach. As far as the brutes, noclue. Maybe they just weren’t stationed there yet?

  1. IDK what happened to the Brutes

  2. The Skirmishers were wiped out on Reach

Hope it helps

What was said previously about Brutes not being in Thel Vadamee’s fleet is the answer you were looking for. Not to mention at that point Brutes were still not given the same rights and privileges that the Sangheili had so they probably weren’t allowed to set foot on such a holy relic as a Halo Installation.

And why did the battle of Reach take 2 hours in the book but in the game it was streched out over 2 weeks?

And why was cortana suposedly a forerunner artifact, but in the book she was a man-made AI?

  1. Read the Data Drops on the main site. They’re fitting the two canons together, and it’s rather interesting.

  2. She wasn’t. The one with Halsey was a copy of herself, to get data on Forerunner tech.

Brutes are the invasion force or something like that. They are mostly for starting the invasion of a planet. Elites, Grunts and Jackals are the main strike force. At least that’s what I herd.

How do you get the info in the data drops? Also how do you get to the previous ones?

brutes both weren’t allowed on the halos because they were viewed as vermin at the time and because thel (arby) didn’t have any in his fleet. (particular justice) Skirmies died out on reach, which i am completely content with.

The entire class of Kig-Yar died out in the battle for Reach?? How the hell is this possible???

Skirmageddon.

One too many Score Attack matches with this were played.

Your first point is wrong; evidenced by the special edition booklet of Halo 2 (which contains the Arbiter’s commentary of the events on Alpha Halo in the form of a letter to the Prophets), Brutes were indeed on Alpha Halo.

I don’t think all Skirmishers went extinct, probably just all the soldiers in the Covenant.

I agree with number 1 & 2. If you read Halo Wiki Truth, Mercy, & Regret had the Skirmishers wiped out because they were to hard to control & the Jackals agreed.

She wasn’t an artifact, Halsey made fragment of her used her to store the data.
