Confirmed Armor Abilities
-Active Camouflage- Radar Jammer behaves differently. Decreased duration. You are visible while reloading. Radar Jammer no longer affects teammates
-Autosentry**- Easily destroyed, places down a turret that automatically fires at enemies. Similar to the auto turret in Halo 3 campaign.
-Hardlight Shield**- Can be countered via splatter, melee, grenades and other explosives. Weak points are behind, under, and directly above the shield user. The shield defends the user from frontal attacks for 7 seconds
-Hologram- Similar to reach, reticle turns red when aiming at it.
-Jet Pack- Nerfed. Duration is decreased as is the hovering height
-Regeneration Field**- Works like in halo 3 but instead forms a bubble, pushes enemies away from the field.
-Promethean Vision- Nerfed. Can see through walls but it is now more limited and has a
higher recharge rate and a slower usage duration
-Thruster Pack- Designed for horizontal movement, goes into 3rd person when used.
Confirmed Support Upgrades:
-Awareness- User can see radar while scoped
-Ammo Upgrade- User can spawn with more ammo
-Dexterity- Faster reloads and weapon swaps
-Explosives- Increases blast radius, decreases damage received
-Mobility- Infinite Sprint
-Ordinance Priority- More frequent ordinance drops
-Resupply- Allows user to pick up grenades off of dead bodies
-Sensor Upgrade- Increases the range and sensitivity of the radar

Confirmed Game Modes:
Infinity Slayer- The general slayer gametype for war games featuring various new features that were introduced in Halo 4
Capture The Flag- Flag cannot be dropped when picked up, flag no longer needs players to surround it in order to be rest(has a timer now), a flagnum is held in hand when the flag is picked up regardless of your secondary weapon, Scoring a flag is 100 point.
Oddball- Oddball now has blue flames, can be thrown,and getting a sword kill on the oddball holder automatically gives the sword wielder the ball.
Griffball- The oddball can be tossed around using thee gravity hammer, the game will no longer end after each point, so it will follow through until which ever side gains 3 first, the oddball can also be chucked in griffball. Griffball has been changed from assault to a variant of oddball, so no more explosion when scoring :((Get your football plays ready)
Regicide- Bounty styled game type. Similar to Juggernaut. Players who kill the king become the king and increase their bounty. Bounty is increased from killing other players and even more from killing the king. The king also has different leader traits that make the king more difficult to kill. The player with the highest bounty wins the match.
Midnight Slayer- New game mode, yet to be revealed.

Basic Mechanics:
-Shield Recharge Faster
-No health system as in Reach and Halo CE
-The spartan used in War Games is a Spartan 4
-Sprint is no longer an armor ability and all players receive it.
-X is to respawn immediately in certain game modes
-Loadouts can be changed using the start button
-Jump height and base speed is similar to Halo 3’s
-Points from kills are used to fill personal ordinance and team ordinance meters.
-Team and Personal ordinance drops in a weapon, a power up, or an extra grenade
-Power ups are now in ordinance. Overshield, damage boost, and speed boost.
According to the interview with Frankie, anything done in Infinity is connected to all the other game modes excluding Campaign. In campaign 1/4 players will be Master Chief and the other 3 will be spartans(not your customizable spartan). Also the other 3 spartans will awaken in lesser cryo tubes on the first level.
