Things 343 should take into consideration.

Here is just a list of things i would like 343 to do in halo 4 that i think would inhance gameplay

-Removal of death barriers.
Halo: Reach multiplayer maps had death barriers on them so we couldn’t glitch out but the days of halo 2 were some of the best times i can remember with super bouncing out of maps and just fooling around in a split screen game is still something i do to this day with Xbox Connect (something you can use to play Halo 2 online again)

-Superbounces
Lets admit there fun

-Warthog launching
Halo:Reach or halo 3 did not have this please bring it back!

-4 Player Co-op
I was sadly disapointed when halo anniversary only had 2 player co-op please make it 4 players like reach and halo 3!

-A mixture of halo 2 and halo 3 ranking system
In my opinoin the halo reach rankling system was bad and good, me and most of the community would like to see a mixture of halo 2’s and halo 3’s rank system.

-The armory
I think the Halo:Reach armory was ok, but a mixture of Halo 3’s and Reach’s would be nice.

removal of death barriers only for custom games would be good. I do admit i was a tad bit disappointed to see the death barriers in forge world on forgemode still there when i wanted to forge stuff on the very top of the mountains in the trees.

Stuff like glitching out of maps, warthog launches, and superbounce were glitches. Entirely unintentional. Suchs things should not be added intentionally.

The reason CEA was only 2 players is because it was that way 10 years ago. Adding two additional players, simple as it may sounds, can have disastrous effects and could have slowed production of the game significantly.

I won’t get into ranks. Too much drama.

I much prefer Reach’s Armory than Halo 3. Halo 3’s ways very limited. Now, if some armors were unlockable only through achievements, that’d be cool, so long as most of the armory is like Reach’s.

  • Removal of Death Barriers

As long as they are there in matchmaking and removable in Forge, I’m all for this idea. They also need to add Invisible Walls as a Forge Item. That way they can edit the Matchmaking maps to thier liking and it’ll let us have a lot more freedom in Forge. There’s so much un-used space on the Reach maps.

  • Superbounces

What would be the point in adding them? So people can get out of the map in matchmkaing? Or so that you can do them in Forge and Custom Games (even though you could easily fly out of the map in Forge Mode)? There’s no point in bringing glitches back.

  • Warthog Launching

I’m pretty sure you can do this if you put invincible vehicles on (though I know you would’nt be able to do it in Forge). If they just made it so you could put invincible vehicles on in Forge you can Warthog Launch till your heart’s content.

  • 4 Player Co-Op

I can guarantee that this’ll be in Halo 4. The only reason it wasn’t in Annersary was because the original game wasn’t designed for 4-players. There are only a certain amount of health packs and vehicles for 2 players, and they didn’t want to change the original game.

4-player Co-Op will be in Halo 4.

  • Rannking System

As long as its skill based and not time played based like Reach’s then that’s fine. I think they should keep credits though, but ONLY as money to use in the Armoury. Make it so that the higher rank you are, the more credits you get.

  • The Armoury

Keep Reach’s, but make it so that ALL armour is available as soon as you put the disc in. This is so that lower ranked people can buy all the armour too.

Oh yeah. Being in a game where someone glitched out of the map with a sniper rifle was just the best.

Well I’m certainly one to support fewer artificial gameplay constraints and 4 player co-op, but just to throw this out there I don’t remember anyone in the prime of Halo 2 or 3 venerating each game’s respective ranking system. Halo 2 was quite simply broken in it’s stupid simplicity and ease of exploitation (remember all those resets?) and at best Halo 3’s was especially obtuse when it came to ranking up or down. And further you had the considerable arguments against using a pure win-loss tracker to measure your individual skill even when modified with the trueskill values of other players. Yes having that simple 1-50 number seems like a good scheme but you have to remember that there was a lot of baggage associated with them as well which might not be so apparent years after.

If any ranking system at all, we need another new formula.

All of the above should only be applied to Campaign (and possibly Forge and Customs?). Campaign glitching was the best.
