Halo 5 Slayer is literally no fun to me. I am a person who prefers objective games than running around and killing others. So there is Team Arena that contains Capture The Flag and Strongholds with Slayer. The random map and game mode made me play Slayers way more than these to objective game. This game sorely needs any playlist that does not have Slayer within the rotation. Even the CTF or Strongholds playlist is fine. Just implement them permanently as independent playlist aside from Slayer. Please, 343, give us a permanent objective game playlist or playlists. This is all I want from Halo 5.
I agree. If I wanted to play slayer then I would go in the slayer playlist.
There already is a single objective mode, Grifball. All jokes aside, I agree take slayer out of TA and replace it with oddball or juggernaut/regicide. If we wanted to play slayer we would go on the slayer playlist.

Rather than taking out Slayer out of Team Arena, they better just add playlist for CTF and Strongholds. Or Assault. They already created game mode and there is no reason to not implement them.

What is the point of making an objective based gamemode when TA is just sitting there? It makes more sense to just remove slayer from TA (Considering that there is already a slayer playlist) and replace it with an objective mode, such as juggernaut/regicide or koth or oddball or heck even a brand new one.

I think you don’t understand what team arena is do you? It’s not supposed to be an objective playlist, it’s based of HCS, I don’t think many of the competitive players would appreciate taking things out just so you can have an objective playlist, how about instead of changing current playlists, demand new ones?

Team Arena is about competitive e-sport that 343 wants and Slayer is one of them. I don’t see 343 adding Juggernaut/Regicide or new game modes, that is a bit high expectation for 343. Lower your expectation on 343.

because “team arena” is the HCS playlist, the pro’s play slayer as while as objective. so the people who want to be like the pros, have a game mode to practice on etc etc.
a team objective would have ALL the maps ( team arena took out all of the new maps) on all the different OBJECTIVE ONLY, game types. (assault isn’t part of team arena as of right now),
so they would HAVE to make a team objective alongside the “HCS” playlist that is team arena.

It has slayer because it’s the pro circuit playlist.
Yeah, they should just take slayer out of Team Arena and rename it to Team Objective.

There are people in CTF, shooting at others when holding a flag and instantly get spotted.
Oddball… I miss that game mode… yeah thier should be 2 play lists one with slayer for the pro… that most of us players are not…and one without slayer and add in oddball instead.
In Team Arena I get a pure Slayer VERY VERY rarely. It’s almost always Capture the Flag or Strongholds.

Oh, so what you’re saying is if an enemy spots you and sees you, runs to you shooting at you… You should just wiggle your butt?
Slayer is the more popular of the 3 so it gets its own playlist. Slayer is also part of HCS which is why its in TA playlist and willnot be removed.
You should keep team arena but throw in team objective which would have CTF, Strongholds, Assault, and maybe breakout arena

No, my teammate was doing well. While teammate was delivering flag, enemy ran pass him and my teammate turned around and shooting at that enemy and self revealed his position.

Didn’t 343 said they are going to add Arena Breakout again once they fixed it?
There’s a 6/14 chance of getting slayer when you start a Team Arena game, compared to just a 4/14 chance for each CTF and SHs. The lack of variety is ridiculous and makes the playlist incredibly repetitive imo which is part of the reason why I stopped playing it. I’d like to see a separate Team Objective playlist which could mean finally seeing Oddball in matchmaking alongside other objective gametypes, without slayer.
