Based on the patch notes here, I donât think my buddies still playing now are going to stick around until S2. I think theyâll come back for sure, but I foresee a lot of solo queuing in my near future.
What are the chances weâre getting bare bones MP content updates because theyâre really focused on S2 coop and making that a totally banger experience? There was a decent amount of improvement from the time during the delay.

I hope thatâs what it is, but Iâm also not getting too hyped for S2 as Iâm wondering if coop might slip from the release target. However, they do seem to be taking feedback seriously and at least attempting to incorporate learnings into their work as they iterate, so there is always hope.

Is that optimism or a desperate wish?

Desperate wish
Who knows, maybe theyâll drop a PvE mode with co-op
Do they have to be mutually exclusive?

No, but I would question the judgment of anyone maintaining such optimism at this point.
These guys canât get a roadmap done in timely manner. Thatâs the kind of thing I canât get over, when they make a vauge deadline, and then try to get away with skipping it until they get called out for it on bloody twitter, only to beg for more time.
All information points to a complete and total management failure, and I find it hard to believe theyâll be able to properly deliver on anything as long as thatâs the case.
(And thatâs leaving aside some of the nonsense from the community managers, you didnât notice Halo 5 was down because of Russia/Ukraine? Gimme a break

I donât know why Iâm going to invite people to just yell at me, but Iâm not even remotely upset at postums. I find it reasonable to be stressed out right now and have difficulty focusing on work.
And as for being an optimist, 343 ended up delivering really well with H5 and MCC in the long run, so I try to be level headed about hot takes like âthey donât do anythingâ
Great, now I canât get the image of 343 being awarded the Fumble medal on release of their last 3 games.
