not for being bad at the game but for being a bad person
you know the kind who destroys friendly vehicles, splatters allies etc
last night i was #1 in spartan ops, one dude decided to destroy my mantis, he then proceeded to destroy EVERY mantis that spawned, i soon dropped to bottom of the table
while your position on the score board doesn’t matter per se the fact i’m not in a vehicle while all the enemies are vehicles or big groups of them puts me at a sever disadvantage in ways of killing them which in turns directly effects my commendation count thus reducing the amount of xp i gain
i think you should get a % reduced xp from your match for every friendly vehicle destroyed and for every friendly killed
give everyone 1 chance, you can destroy 1 vehicle and kill 1 player per match however if you constantly do this match after match after match you should have your chances revoked
if you do constantly be a bad person you’ll recieve say 10% less xp from the match, if you still constantly carry on doing it you’ll then recieve 20% less xp and eventually if you are just such a -Yoink!- bad person you should get an entire xp ban)
Anyways, yeah, people are starting to become selfish scumbags that want everything their way. I lost a bunch of Banshees and Ghosts because my teammates wanted them. It’s getting annoying.

just report him then move along, don’t give him the satisfaction
> Annoyed when this happens to me; People need to stop destroying friendly vehicles/I mean what gives!!
bad people are just bad and needs to be punished hence my idea XD
also what are the whole “thanks” for? i have a couple for all sorts of things (and i assume they’re good) but what do they mean, does having more/less show or mean anything?
I was surprised 343 didn’t implement their own system where players can report other players in game, which leads to in game bans and if it gets serious, a 343 member can actually look at it.
And then isolate those players. Stick them in playlists with other bad community members for a while, so everyone else can enjoy a game without them.

This would be so badly abused I can’t tell you. Ahh, that guy was a much better player then me, report etc, etc, when there are this many scumbags, a report system will not work.
They need to implement a better betrayal/booting system, e.g. when you do 200xp of damage to friendlies (team-mates and vehicles), then the last person to have their XP removed get’s the option to boot. Let’s assume 100xp is required to kill a player fully shielded. Therefore this is the equivalent of 2 betrayals but has the added benefit of catching shield droppers (NOOTE: I’m assuming FF is on).
Altogether, people that actually do anything to affect their allies, should be able to lose EXP.

lol. It’s funny how you say that, when you’ve boosted for your UNSC Loadout Master.
I feel for you OP. Some people will do stuff like this just because they get a rise out of greifing others. On the other hand, this type of behavior is exactly what comes out of the wood work in xp based progression systems. Mainly because they promote a lot of selfishness, lack of team play and bring out some of the worst in people. Add that to the internet with its annonimity and it’s a recipe for griefing.
