Although I agree it aint gunna happen. MS doesn’t have to, and they have stated many times there is absolutely no refunds on marketplace content. You agree to this when you hit confirm purchase. Sucks, yes, but hey you still have your maps.
Yeeah, people keep saying the DLC is free. It’s not. It’s a glitch. Basically, (whoever’s fault it was) they left a back door open. People found out about it and people are taking advantage of the situation.
People who keep saying, “Ohhh stop being butt-hurt. So what if it’s free? You don’t need compensation.”, you’re probably the people whom got it for free.
BUT for the people who actually spent money on it, they believe it’s unfair. I’m one of those people. It’s unfair. So what if it’s 10 measly dollars? It’s still money that was spent for no reason on a DLC that was glitched and everyone globally, is accessing it for free.
How would you feel? You’d feel like crap.
A compensation needs to be met. Either make the people who got it for free, buy it. Or, make the people who spent 10 bucks get the next DLC for free.

Yes, yes, yes. More people is always better. Hell I paid for it and could care less if they gave it all away for free, I just don’t want to see a playlist with less than 2k in it. When I finally got on and saw 21k tonight I was happy, I just hope it keeps up.
LoL. Asking Moneysoft for a refund and getting it is as likely as seeing a date like this again (in our lifetime)…
A refund for what? You got what you paid for.

It’s already been stated mamny times through their support pages as well as testimonials from people who call and say that they’re standing ground on this situation. You’ll probably be compensated by some cheap gimmick. MS can’t afford to give refunds at this point, they already lost too much money today on this.

It’ll be interesting if we ever see the numbers on this. I haven’t played the game for a few hours, but there were 22,000+ in the DLC playlist then and every game I played in the standard BTB playlist was a Crimson map. That suggests there are a LOT of people out there with this DLC. How many paid and how many got it free is the question.
I didn’t have a constant Xbox Live subscription until Reach, so I can’t speak for earlier games, but the Reach DLC maps were rarities until the matchmaking system was weighted to pair DLC folks more often. It was shocking to me tonight to see how, though I was definitely sick of seeing Ragnarok, there was not a chance of any other map getting selected in the standard playlist.
