The Master Chief Collection is currently a deal if you are a fan of Halo.
But on the PC only Halo Reach is available.
Microsoft should have a website page with the overreaching schedule that they update with changes and setbacks in the process.
This way their transparency will drive a quality finish and keep their customers informed.

Early last year they did set some dates for releasing things, but due to the nature of software development some dates had to be pushed a few times. The community didn’t take too well to shifting dates and “release dates” being missed, which is why the mantra 343 have at the moment and have had for a while is that things will be “ready when they’re ready”.
They’ve been very transparent about this since last year, with monthly development blogs and weekly flighting updates.
