They fixed the Super Nade Glitch :(

I didn’t see this as an issue as even with the power to do it. It was still pretty hard to put it into effect and achieve kills with it. It also added some interesting methods of using them to your advantage.

To me the Plasma nades are broken…the feel of it just isn’t Halo 3 / Reach.

Personally, the nades in Reach had to be nerfed just a little. But Halo 4 is Reach’s source code basically copypasta’d and I seriously dunno where they went wrong with decided to add a little more gravity to the deploying of plasma nades.

If anything I seen the Super Nades as a FEATURE to the nading experts. I had fun with a few of them, got some nice montage clips too…

Ahh well at least they fixed the Auto-Reload Boltshot glitch. That was becoming an annoyance. I am curious to see what else they “fixed” details coming shortly apparently.

Are you sure they patched it? I’m pretty sure I was doing I after I downloaded the update today.

Either I’m pulling host every game or it’s patched because I haven’t one it offhost yet and I can do it all of the time.

I actually heard that the game is basically built from the ground up, except for the core physics and mechanics of Halo CE. If by super grenade glitch you mean insta-splodes, then Im pretty sure that is a core mechanic.

I’m pretty sure he is referencing this.

It just launches the grenade straight forward at a further distance than it would normally go.

oh, never knew about that! Wish I did so I could have taken advantage of it before it got patched. :frowning:

It definitely has not been patched I’ve been using it ever since the 30MB patch, but I did notice the BoltShot Reload glitch didnt appear to be working for me.

I haven’t been able to do it.
People on the THF are reporting they can’t do it.
None of the people in my party are able to do it.

Grr I was having so much fun with that… Little glitches like that make games fun its not like u could get it every time

Unless you had host, it was pretty easily achievable.

Not fixed, still in the game according to Halocouncil.

It still in the game, the Grenade just isnt as fast as it used to be pre-patch.
But I swear the BoltShot reload is gone.

Get a life you glitching cheats! I hope they patch all the glitches so you noobs will actually have to play the game the way it was meant to be played. You people need to get some honor and some true skill and stop trying to exploit faults in the game because you suck normally. HOPE YOU ALL GET CONSOLE BANNED!

If the glitch was available for ALL to use, and required nothing other than your own skill and reaction time to perform, then it doesnt make us NUUBS, for using it.

The nuubs are the people who couldnt input what was a considerably easier button combination in a Halo Game compared to previous games, to launch a grenade with a bit more impetus. The glitch didnt decrease the detonation timer, its wasnt GAME breaking, in fact, its only real use I found was in Objective modes where the objective made it obvious where the opponents were going to be (OFTEN ROUND CORNERS HIDING) and a usual grenade wouldnt give the same bounce to propel itself onto the corner camper in question BUT the Super Nade did.

NOW TELL ME. YOU MUST HAVE BEEN THAT GUY ON HAVEN IN KING OF THE HILL HIDING IN THE CORNER FROM NADES AS PEOPLE USED THE SUPER NADE TO GET YOU IN POSITION YOU THOUGHT WAS OTHERWISE INVULNERABLE FROM SUCH ATTACKS!

It’s ironic that you call people noobs for using a glitch when in your last ten posts there is one where you explain how you think 343i should make a game more like Halo 2, “the greatest Halo of them all in respect to multiplayer”, when Halo 2’s multiplayer was full glitch users. So much so that it became standard practice, less of a glitch and more of an advanced game mechanic, which is exactly what the super grenade throw is. It doesn’t break the game, it enhances it for the players who can use it to their advantage. Just because you can’t do it doesn’t mean it is bad.
