I don’t understand the problem with this weapon. People use AR, Bolt shot, light rifle, plasma pistols, binary weapons (which piss me off), and battle rifles.
They are all just as good as DMR. Especially light rifle from far distance ( like dmr is good far).
I’m sorry but I hope they keep DMR the way it is, it gets me to stay away from you noob campers who have AR and bolt shot all day.

Last time I checked DMR is the same as it was in Reach. It still has it’s bloom. and sometimes AR people even kill me long range ( which makes no sense).

There’s a reason for no recoil too, cause it already has bloom. And look at the size of the maps, try having fun in a game with no longer range weapons.
Well, tell me why should I use a Light Rifle then. Or a Carbine? I have no reason, becouse the DMR beats both. The BR is also beated, even if on close range it “should” be better. And no, ony the DMR makes HIGH damage to vehicles: few players with DMR shooting to a vehicle can destroy it pretty fast. Other Loadout weapons can’t.
(btw, the plasma pistol disables, doesn’t distroy)

Bloom has nowhere near the affect that it had in reach. You can 5-shot kill people across the map spamming the trigger at max speed. It also has the greatest aim magnetism, fastest killtime of any precision weapon in the game, with no recoil.
I’m getting sick of explaining why the DMR is overpowered.
It has
-Very low recoil
-Great Ammo count
-Very high accuracy and precision
-Fast rate of fire (Faster than both BR and Lighrifle)
-Fantastic at all ranges, dominates at long range
-Out classes the BR at close to mid range with little effort
-Ridiculously high bullet magnetism
-The lack of de-scoping has made the weapon even more powerful
Who ever brought up that it has Bloom has no idea what he’s talking about, the Bloom literally does nothing.
The people defending the DMR are clearly the people that the gun was catered to and are afraid that they will suck if the DMR got nerfed.

Afraid to have a gun nerfed? not really. And you can’t out scope, but if you get shot it does the same thing the sniper does and moves. Light Rifle takes less shots than the BR and DMR if your aiming, so that’s why it has slower shots.

Then go into BTB with a carbine vs a whole team using DMRs. The DMR will always win because of its faster kill time. The only time you will kill someone is if the other team is less skilled than you are or if you get the drop on them somehow.
I use Dmr for atleast 7300 of my 8000 kills. Because the player I am and the situations I choose, require me to use it.
I probably could face any of you with any of the weapons you think are underpowered and still beat you. being double teamed by dmrs wont justify the over powered rant

The Light Rifle has the least Bullet Magnetism out of all the Precision weapons, it also has less than the Beam Rifle and the Sniper rifle, the Light Rifle takes more skill to use than the DMR.
The DMR has the best of everything, stop denying it.

Why are you making this thread when it says you haven’t played halo 4 yet? If you really haven’t played it yet then stop posting.

That alone sums up how useful other weapons are in comparison.
Sounds like someone thinks they’ll struggle if the guns nerfed.
I think you guys should just get better with the other guns. Sure, the DMR has longer range and what not, but I’ve been beaten by the BR and LR when I have primarily used a DMR. The only thing that NEEDS to be done about the BR is to have its hit detection altered. Currently, I find myself needing to shoot people a few more times to even pop their shields. I’m already on distinguished with the BR, and I just recently mastered the DMR, so you can’t really say I have hardly used it.
Just for back up, I played a team of 5 in CTF on Adrift and went 39-11. 30 kills with the BR. It’s not SUPER out-fired by the DMR. Try actually strafing when you play the game 
I actually wanted to read this thread thinking it was different then the others, but I have to say, its the same as garbage posted everyday on the forums.
In all honesty, you sound like you would be sad if the DMR got nerfed because it is your main way of getting kills.
It beats the Carbine with no sweat. The BR is the most formidable opponent, but still not good enough. Using the Light Rifle? Your done.
The DMR is overpowered and you need to accept it. At the very least you must agree that the other rifles are not near as much power as the DMR and it only enforces people to use one gun instead of a variety of weapons.

Anyone claiming the DMR is not OP does not understand the games mechanics.
I use the DMR because I am forced to do so in order to maintain a positive k/d ratio from all the other DMR spammers. I regularly take down BR/LR users with ease utilising the DMR. Not so with the BR/LR, I have to actually work at it to stay competative with the other players in the room. DMR is far, far too noob friendly at all ranges.
