Did you see the grunt talking to the elite, not sure which mission. I was with some friends and we listened to that grunt talk for at least 10 minutes. It was quite hilarious

They can also slap you in the face with their shields! The Jackals, they have melee capabilities!
Isn’t it canon that the covenant actually learn to speak earthly languages? It’s honestly quite interesting.

I forget the number but its one of the walk & talk missions on Sanghelios in the Elite camp.

Mission 9 or 11 - one of these two ‘non action missions’ - the grunt talks such weird stuff

on the mission that you play as blue team and is on the planet that all the guardians have come to, you eventually come up on a crashed covy dropship with an elite, 2 jackals and a few grunts if you jump over the ship there will be a grunt siting down on the edge of a cliff and it will just sit there talking to itself until you chose to punt it off the side and make a field goal through an imaginary goal post…

Here’s the Grunt talking about visual retcons throughout the franchise’s history … particularly the Arbiter, all that purple, and the Gravemind. Very clever little bit.
I even sat next to them and heard him for hours Hahah. Apparently there’s one in a Blue Team mission where a grunt sings with a skull in his hand sitting at an edge so you kick him and it gives you the skull
