His name has somehow slipped my mind at the moment, but the Halo announcer has always been a halo trademark and it seems that 343i has screwed that up…

Why does he sound so rushed? and why does it sound like his voice is higher? He also sounds robot, which is stupid. I really hope that he only sounds like this because this is the E3 build footage.
I didn’t even notice that until now, he sounds quieter and definitely speaking faster. I really hope that isn’t the permanent voices.
I agree who is going to excitedly tell me when i’m playing swat, because this voice just isn’t the same
While I do prefer the deeper tone that the announcer used in past games, the faster and higher-pitched done he uses in that video just seems to… fit… better. I don’t know why.

in this game type yes, I just want him to talk normal during SWAT
I agree. Also, medals should stack, and the Announcer should say each one. Without this quality, there will be a gap in the experience, it wont be the same, a change for the worst.

Exactly, I love when the medals “stack”, when you get to hear each one you earn instead of just the latest, feels much better that way
Then again, I think the MP announcer voice was quite bland and somewhat “bored” in Reach, maybe the guy is just fed up or just not feeling the fire he once did for Halo?
Who knows, it sure enough doesn’t sound as good as it did, then again this is how the new Halo maybe is supposed to be, and the voice maybe fits what the game delivers, it did for Reach at least (boredom).
