In the forge reveal you can clearly see that someone is working on a remake of headlong. in another spot you can see that they are using a smaller tv next to them with a halo 2 map loaded, I assume it’s to help them remake old maps.
Can someone let me know if any of the other small glimpses might be a remake.

I believe that is just one of the visiting Forgers getting acquainted with the new Forge. It’s a common training exercise. I usually remake my own previous forge maps It saves trying to come up with something from scratch and lets you focus on learning the tools and objects.

Yeah you’re right, because it’s psycho duck that has the halo 2 up facing him. And after going through mcc again I found the wall he’s looking at, and it’s just headlong again. But it is really exciting that we can remake maps much easier now.

I know im gonna do the cage/uncaged from reach, just gonna add a few tweaks for 5 because of abilities and what not.

I will remake some for sure, I’m thinking about swordbase from reach.
Because it might be fun with the new abilities, plus everyone else will make all the really popular maps for me. I just want to ground pound people from the top, and snipe people camping in the lift room.
I hope we can mirror groups in forge.

I’ve never been into remaking maps in Forge. With THIS Forge, it looks a little more “worth it” because you can make the map actually look appealing now.
Well we’ve already seen 7 forged maps of Halo 5 so I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more.
Whether they appear in matchmaking or not, a ton of maps, including Headlong, would be perfect with the new spartan abilities. Another great one for arena would be Guardian.

I loved guardian its one of my favorite halo 3 maps

Countdown would be a great remake, seeing that it would be interesting how it would play out with the new abilities.
Am I the only one who thinks The Pit could work great in Halo 5? I’m not really basing that off of anything but intuition though.
