TheTwo Roles of John and Tom.

—SPOILER WARNING.—
-Play all of the games and read the latest books so you don’t get offended by accidentally reading the thread below.-

Glasslands attempted to connect the end of the war with the events in Halo 4. As we recently found out from the book and the game previews, Spartan IV’s are arriving and they are not produced the same way as II’s and III’s. Like the original project, Orion, the program is using veteran soldiers to jump in and use the suits sort-o-speak.
At the end of Glasslands, we learn that the Spartan IIIs are introduced to the Spartan IV program and may even lead/instruct other spartan IVs.

I know that we will play as Master Chief, but like Halo 2 and 3, we might have to assume the role of another character.

If we play this right, then we may even play as a Spartan IV in the campaign, just like the multiplayer mode. In the Reach campaign, we played as a Spartan III and in multiplayer, the same thing. This correlation may hold for Halo 4. Aside from John, we might play as Tom, Lucy, Ash, or any other Spartan focused on.

343 said that ther’d be a reason for the Reds to be fighting the Blues. This may have something to do with the Halsey ending. Spartan II’s and III’s may be head-to-head…

What do y’all think?

bump.

Interesting theory. But there’s only one way to find it out: wait for Halo 4…

I’d be surprised if we played as anyone but John in Halo 4. Thats what everyone has been waiting for, I think some people would be annoyed that you change from John to other characters (even though I would like that myself).

As for multiplayer… they’re Spartan-IVs.

it’s plausible

Buck maybe?

> Buck maybe?

Buck what?
