Many people are cancelling pre-orders as a result of “exclusives”’ not being so exclusive.
Well this quote from the 9.19 bulletin is quite worrysome for LE and console owners that wish the keep FOTUS to ourselves:

Why cant the LE and console owners have things that will always set them apart? Like the legendary flames that Bungie had, and did not give to everyone (they gave their blue flames, not the legendary editions red flames)
I wish they would clarify this. Because if everyone will get all of the exclusives, i will cancel my LE and my console meaning they would get $60 out of me rather than $450.
I’m not going to cancel, and honestly I’d rather everybody be able to unlock all content for completion. (buying LE)
As long as it’s “the distant future” that everything becomes unlocked, or, you’re forced to work some ridiculous challenges… I’ll be fine with the “exclusive” armors not being exclusive.
I wish 343 would post solid answers, rather than everyone having to speculate because it is obvious LE owners got screwed over and while ilove the console, i dont want to see my FOTUS be handed out as well

I went to get my $50 back from the console cause of the price cut and asked about LE cancellations and that is what the manager had told me. How can i provide proof? A notarized letter? Lol be realistic.

Why pay for something noiw that you can later get for free?
343i said that people paying for their crappy LE would get extended versions of FuD but I have already seen them taking pre orders for this as a seperate DVD so in essence you are paying more for the privelege of NOTHING.
If you want to let MS and 343i bend you over the table take you for all you’re worth then fine but don’t attack others for not being as stupid. 'k?

This. The only stuff that should forever stay exclusive to LE is the physical stuff and the FUD stream, same goes for the LE Xbox.
Personally, I don’t see why people are cancelling in the first place. They’re getting exactly what they were promised when LE was announced. If you add the map pass and FUD, it’s $5 cheaper to get LE, and you get a good amount of both physical and digital exclusives on top of that. Sure FUD comes with a disc and the map pass comes with two helmets if you buy them separate, but the helmets can easily be bough off of Ebay for a few dollars, and the LE users get an extended version that, as far as I have seen, doesn’t come with the disc version. Plus, Microsoft is hinting at yet another exclusive to come with LE.
I’m going to laugh quite hard when those who cancelled their pre-orders realize all of this and can’t get LE because it has run out.
