These prices are disgusting

I understand completely how all of that works. I haven’t played halo6 but from what I understand it is free and also plagued with various issues as was MCC on its launch and also for years afterwards. You can’t compare real-life experiences to useless varying pixel configurations on a tv/computer screen

Ah, so you have dressed yourself uselessly IRL. Well congratulations on understanding why people personalize themselves in video games. Now if you have something to actually contribute to the topic, feel free to do so.

The toxicity on this forum has went up dramatically over time. I remember back when Halo 4 came out it was a huge swath of people that freaking revered 343i and praised them endlessly, but all them folks probably done left and now all that’s left here is cheese and whine.

Also, customize your avatar dude. I seriously can’t tell you two apart. Confusing.

I’m reacting to a person who came in and willingly misunderstands why people customize. It has nothing to do with the topic and they are just baiting. They just said they don’t even play the game. This person is a troll who isn’t worth my time, yet I still wasted it anyways…

Also, I have a custom Xbox avatar, yet it isn’t syncing. It’s not my fault 343 yet again can’t properly make a simple feature.

There is no point in customizing an avatar, it means nothing and does not necessarily reflect your skill at any particular game

I would love to know your rank with how much trash you’re talking.

What rank are you referring to? I’m not talking trash I’m just stating the truth

Nvm, just saw you haven’t played the game. Why are you even here if you’re not adding to the conversation? Just leave lmao

Hard disagree. It’s a fun way to express yourself. I mean, do you only just wear one set of black clothes like some cartoon character? Expressing yourself is post of the fun, and that makes it worth it for a lot of people. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean you have to act like there’s no point to it.

I’m here to try to interject common sense into this forum. None of whatever armor these kids are talking about will impact their gameplay in any way. All “armor”, contrary to the literal definition of the word, will not help any player at all.

Back to what I said earlier, sorry a troll got into our convo, but I don’t just use the gamepass for halo. It’s just more convenient than buying a game and fully committing the 60 bucks when I could just install it and play for a fraction of the cost. Hell I don’t even have to install it because cloud is a feature.

Common sense? We all enjoy customizing how our character appears in a video game that we all love. So you don’t care for customization…AND? We all do. Move along.

You can compare them. There’s no real point to wearing a certain style of clothing just like there’s no point to having your Spartan wear certain kind of armor. Heck, there’s no point to play Halo at all. What is it going to get you in life? Odds are you aren’t going to make a living off of it, so why play it? It’s pointless right? Wrong! People enjoy it. That’s the use. People like it and have fun with it. That gives it purpose.

Your “customization” means nothing. No matter what armor you choose it will not affect the outcome of the game.

Clearly you didn’t understand. By your logic, your opinion is pointless since it will not affect the fact that we, the rest of the Halo community love our customization. THAT is what gives it purpose

These is absolutely no sense in changing how your spartan appears; no matter what settings you happen to choose your character is exactly equal to your opponents’.

There is absolutely no sense in arguing that customization doesn’t matter, because it does.

I recommend just saying gr8 b8 m8 and moving on.

They don’t care to understand and are likely a hypocrite because they ignored my examples of people doing things just for looks and not functionality IRL.

There are others in this forum who pretend to not understand personalization in a video game yet do it IRL and they think they’re so holier than thou because it inflates their ego.

Did you know that if you click someone’s Profile pic, a summary box will pop up, and if you click the profile pic or name within that, you’ll be take to their profile screen. From there you can select to view their activity. That could lead you to find other interesting threads to dive into, could tell you the particular person is worth having a discussion with in either the current thread or through starting a new one and tagging them. Could even be that they’ve debated particular subject matter before and you think you can add to that; or that you’ve nothing new you could add and choose not to engage. All sorts of interesting possibilities.

Anyway, the reason I’m replying here is this: if you log into the xbox website, does it display your profile pic there? If it does, it’d be worth logging out of both the Waypoint website and the forum, then logging back into the forum. That might make the forum bring the picture in. If the pic isn’t displaying in the website, then not sure how to get that going.

Obviously this is all off topic. Sorry about that. I’ll duck out now!

I already have muted them and stopped engaging. One step ahead of you.
