These prices are disgusting

Every week (even daily) 343 out does themselves with these ridiculous bundles and their pricing, you can not justify these prices just because its free to play you just cant

I keep seeing the same argument for them saying “[Insert game] has bundles like this” which you are right but difference is that you are drastically changing the way the player/weapons/vehicles look and sound, $20 (£15.99) for 3 versions of the same coating just for different cores, essentially the colour white for the BR, light blue for the sniper and bulldog, a stance called trash removal (the irony of this one as these trash MTX decisions should be removed) and then an emblem thats separated to look like value for everything

I great example of MTX done right is ironically Destiny by Bungie which 343 have been desperately trying for how many years now? To fill the void with a Halo which the fans actually want which Infinite might end up being but these decisions to rip your player base off with these mostly filler bundles and then charging such premium prices for them are leaving a bad taste.

realistically these bundles need to be looked at and the decision made to put some value in them (more Armour, less filler like Armour/weapon emblems, a combination of weapon coatings that are not just a block colour or a lighter shade of them) and the pricing needs to be reduced by 25-50%

and that would just be a start

Let me ask you something… Would you ever be interested in purchasing something from the store? If not, then why does this matter to you?

This is a non sequitor. Even if he was never going to buy anything from the store, the mere fact that they do put stuff on the store means less stuff to grind for through gameplay.

Truth is, the prices are ludicrously high. And the more people keep silent about the more it will increase over time. If we buy cosmetics now for 10 dollars, they’ll be 15 dollars next year, 20 dollars after that, and slowly but surely we’ll be paying full price for this kind of crap in a matter of years. But I guess that’s a bit too forward thinking for some people.

I mean, I probably would purchase from the store, it is these prices discourage me from doing so. In fact, practices like forcing you to buy the battle pass before you can even use armor like HAZOP that you paid for make it more discouraging.

I don’t get why people think it’s a topic worth discussing. They’ll only change it based on consumer data.

All I want is a black visor.
Preferably for 1 to 5 bucks.

It’s a visor. It’s black. For my virtual spartan.
Shouldn’t cost more as a meal.

Like I told you in the other thread, I would buy the blue color weapon coatings if they were individually purchasable, but since it’s in a bundle with a bunch of other stuff I don’t want, they get $0 from me instead. It’s not financially smart of them to do it this way.

Why do you feel the need to constantly go into forums to only shill and extinguish conversations that have regard to how players feel about the systems in the game. You are not providing an ounce of help on this entire site. Reevaluate yourself and what you bring to the table. People saying that they are discouraged to buy things like Hazop, because if they do, they still can’t use it without buying the battlepass too. That’s ludicrous to lock out someone after they already purchased an item. Be a better person and provide some substance to the website and community

BTW this is a form of consumer data ya dope

First of all i have done in the first week immediately regretted it, after realising what i actually got for that price and then noticing on a daily/weekly basis that the bundles were not just a one off in the lack of value you get for the price.

a lot of these items can be and should be seperated into smaller bundles or sold seperatly for cheaper

Its always worth trying to keep the conversation going until the issues are fixed

I agree. Ken, is a horrible poster he has not once been any help to change, or any conversation. He is a complete tool

I don’t get why people feel the need to chastise things against their best interest.

Some things it will work but with a marketplace they’ll look at how much interaction goes on. Sales is the most important metric and performance against targets.

Why do people come here to complain? Probably same as me, we like to discuss Halo and we also contribute to many other topics not just ones that oppose our views. My last post was criticisms about the winter event. So with respect, leave it to discussions on a topic by topic basis.

Are you a bot? You’ve said that almost verbatim before. And the reason people complain, is simply because, this Is a forum that 343 blatantly said to leave feedback on. Again, do better next time and be helpful to the community

Yeah, but another way of looking at it is that not everybody wants to or can grind, so its an option for people that you know, have money but not a lot of time.

The classic slippery slope argument. By this same logic paid games should cost $400 a piece, every single microtransaction should already be worth hundreds. Videogames (and DLC) have been selling well for decades. The reality is that they charge a high price for most items day 1, then they have sales on occasion for reluctant buyers.

They use metrics/data to evaluate store prices mainly. That and probably intuition (them cat ears gonna sell like -Yoink!- lol) so although it never hurts to complain about this or that, the reality is that if they make craploads of money off of an item they’ll continue to charge for it. Devs aren’t stupid, they won’t charge prices that people won’t buy them at.

idk man bundles have always worked. Now its obviously not the package that you’d like, but they can always just put that blue whatever coating into another bundle or something. Its not a complicated business strategy.

I didn’t realise I had so many Waypoint followers.

I mean, Bungie does bundles and individual items in the Eververse Store and they seem to be doing okay. In fact, they’ll even offer you discounts on things like armor cosmetics if you’ve managed to unlock said cosmetic for free.

Imagine. A paid store and avenues to actually unlock significant stuff like armor for free.

I get the whole bundle thing but the pricing is way off. Money does need to be earned for the development. That other game overkills with the grind but at least you earn something toward getting the bundle - not a lot though. It would be nice if 343 would incorporate the metals earned into some type of reward system. They seem pointless at this time.

Also, the whole color scheme for customizing seems stupid. Let me color the avatar the way I want through color selections not these “shader” set ups.

Definitely not a fan of the armor coatings or weapon skins either but that system is not going to be going anywhere no matter how much criticism it receives.
