Yeah. In order to get All 14 Weapon skins without RP you would have to spend more than the price of the game. There shouldn’t even be an option to buy this pack with money it’s getting obsurd. What 343 has left is loyal halo fans and we are getting slimmer by the day. Stop trying to milk us like a cow.

I only had to buy 3 packs to get all 14 skins. I was at 100% before (minus Achilles) so I got 5 skins in each pack…except the 3rd pack, I got 4 and points back…so all 14. Now they have added in 2 new skins (Sharktooth grin) bringing the total up to 16.
Which I now don’t want to spend another full pack just for 2 skins…
To be honest I think the REQ price and cash price are good, these are supposed to be like limited time packs or whatever,what I do think is not right is the fact that you get 2 new items out of the five you get on the pack,if it gave 5/5 brand new items I think $10 would be a fair price even.

Except this time you would have to buy it more than once to get what you want. Ive seen people having to buy 6 packs.
I don’t understand how $10 is a fair price when you have to buy it 7 times over if you haven’t unlocked everything. It’s crazy what people will spend real money on let alone req points that take forever to accumulate.
don’t forget 80k is 8 gold packs, that’s 16 permanent unlocks. but since you won’t be able to unlock these again in the future, spend 16 permanents on 5 instead because skins pretty much make the game. oh and you won’t get a matching set and you only get 2 of the new skins unless you already unlocked everything else.

I know a few people who bought it, I grinded up to buy it but was too late, but was glad after I found out more about the req system.
No, but seriously. Assuming you get everything you need from just 3 packs, that’s still 240,000 req points. Assuming you’re grinding warzone assault since it’s the most efficient way to earn them, assuming each of those matches goes for 18 minutes (IE: the longest they can possibly last) and assuming an average payout of 1300 points (a conservative estimate in my experience, but not by much), you’re looking at a possible 55 hours of grinding just to afford absolute best case scenario. That time can be decreased with boosts, or consistently performing pretty damn well, but even if you manage to swing 3000 points a game you’re still looking at 24 hours of straight grinding.
And don’t forget, this is only available for a limited time. I’d be lying if I said I knew how long it would be up, but if it’s anything like the previous similar packs which were available, the opportunity will be gone come Monday. So even if you’re the god emperor of warzone consistently pulling in a whole bunch of req points in every single match, you’re looking at 4 days to earn 240,000 points, or 6 hours per day.
All of this is to say that short of having been sitting on a stockpile of points for whatever reason, you’re not going to unlock all of them in time. You’re gonna have to pay.

I was pretty pumped to play Halo for a few days to get these skins, but now I’m not even sure its worth it to grind so hard.

They’re a company of Microsoft. They have to make money. Don’t criticize them for doing their job; and you’re not forced to buy the pack you know. If you don’t like what you’re being offered, don’t buy it. Nobody is forcing you.

He’s just commenting on their price and contents. You’re right, he doesn’t have to buy them, but we can still discuss it in hopes of somehow showing our opinion on the topic to the devs, so that the next time they do this, they could maybe improve it.

You are guaranteed two of the new fancy skins, and the other three are rare or better customization items. If you’ve already unlocked everything, though, you get 5 new fancy skins in each pack. The description is a little misleading, unfortunately 
At least the special skins in this pack are cool. Can’t really say that about the other weapon skins.

Thanks for the info. I’m really disappointed to hear this but I already started working for it at 55,000 points so I might as well keep going. Going to be seriously pissed off though if my terrible luck continues and I get skins that I don’t like.
