Well for starters, 1/3 of the H4 population has experienced serious lag, drop outs, and black screens. I myself have had all of the above. I’ve heard rumors about some peoples servers being used as “hoppers”, whatever that is . We have also had numerous reports of holes in the walls where people would hold an objective ( mainly in Complex & Ragnarok ). I dont think anything is really OP, in fact I think the Mantis is more of a support/defense vehicle and is weak to a good team shoot.
I know that 343 meant well in taking the torch for the Halo series. But as far as what I have read in the forums, a beta should of been a necessity. I mean, how else would they confront these networking/ map problems before they could happen?
Believing that it was my own networking, I have replaced my entire networking gear, including the cables. All together with this game a grand total of $300, not including the premium ISP i requested. It was probably best for me to just go with the hint that it was the game or servers acting up, as all my other games run crisp.
Now I believe this is the greatest in the series… but if i still have these networking problems, and the maps are still duds, I have no choice but to sell something that doesn’t obviously work for me
