Yeah I know the game has problems it’s a launch game, games haven’t been perfect with a launch in a very long time ( for me at least). So I wonder is there anything people actually like about the game and discuss? Personally I like discussing the Halo 4 Lore like the vehicles and stuff or what happened to ODST? Or why that 1 Brute Hammer was in the game? Even what happened to Halsey after Episode 5. Anyone else want to discuss?
mostly because of specialization codes and servers as of right now. Luckily it looks like the specialization codes are gonna be cleared up now that 343 is sending the codes out via Xbox Live messaging. As for the servers . . . well . . . since the specialization codes are done 343 should be able to put more focus on fixing the servers. Eventually they’ll get this game rolling. I’ve been on the backup servers since Friday. 343’s pushing through, people just gotta give them time and patience. Even though it could be argued that we shouldn’t even have to give them patience in the first place . . . what are you gonna do?
As far as the DMR being OP and the boltshot being the OP . . . haters gonna hate. I kind of agree with the DMR, but really don’t care too much. As for the boltshot, it really just punishes stupid players. That’s my two cents and I really don’t feel like debating the subject with anyone who posts after me about it.

People are so negative, because they did not get the game they wanted. We were promised a game where everyone could have FUN. If you played griffball, flood, ranked slayer, big team, racing or mlg, halo 4 was going to have a spot for you, but it doesn’t.
Then even went as far to say, if you don’t like how we designed the game, you can change everything about it in customs. I even remember them say there would be a “classic” playlist that was what halo was before they changed everything. They failed to include both of these options which has upset the whole community.
They promised us a lot and failed to deliver. We all payed a lot of money for this game and this is the outlet that we have to inform 343 that we are not happy. It sucks that it is all so negative, but how can we convey that the game is not fun in a positive manner? The way the game shipped is frustrating and people need to be able to air their grievances.

They’ve been Negative Nancies since launch, and I’m thrilled with it. I was afraid Waypoint would be different, but my dreams came true, and these boards are just as entertaining as Bnet.
This is going to be the first and probably only post I make where I say something entirely nice about 343 and Halo 4.
They’re hard workers, and it shows in the campaign.
It was beautiful to see the Chief be humanised as they did, and the story was surprisingly well written and fits into the lore flawlessly for a bolted-on trilogy. The inside-helmet camera was a nice authentic touch as well. My favourite scene…

…was when Capt. Del Rio screamed to Palmer “Arrest this man!”, directed at the chief. This was the best scene of all the Halo games so far because it reminds you that the chief isn’t the top-dog in the military any more, and he really is just a fancy human soldier and not a superhero. Just seeing the Chief setting out to do something and not succeeding (Getting Cortana to Halsey and protecting Ivaoff research facility from the Didact) was striking too.

Every single gamer is a critic , I don’t know why this generation of gamers thing that it’s so easy to come up with an update that fixes every single problem , I in fact wish it was that easy
Because this forum is split into two. Those who want back the h2/3 style gameplay back, and have an extreme dislike for halo 4(like me). And those who think halo 4 is the greatest thing since sliced bread, and is a gift from god himself.
I don’t have any complaints about the game, sucks to be everyone else.

I figure the negativity will die out soon. After people finally get done with complaining they will stop posting. Personally though, I find nothing wrong with Halo 4 either.
343i really took the responsibility of continuing a big name franchise. Halo 4 is something a lot of people have been waiting for. While Halo: Reach wasn’t very good, it didn’t matter as much because it wasn’t continuing the story of their beloved character. It’s to be expected that people will be upset if the next game doesn’t live up to the hype in their opinions.
Op, lately? These forums have been like this since E3 what with all the whining.
People like complaining. Its not that the change is hard, that is a load of crap. These are the same kinda complaints Halo 2 had before and after release and Halo 3 had pre-release. The game, when released, has a bunch of problems and because being smart and organizing complaints is apparently too difficult, they go and yell at everything.
The people who are here either want a serious descussion, want to complain about the game or are just bored.
The people who actually like Halo 4, are playing Halo 4 as we speak. It’s as simple as that to be honest, why would you come here unless there’s a tactics thread if you actually like the game?
Have you ever been a member of B.Net? That place had ten times the negativity on the forums even when the so-called “perfect” Halo 2 and 3 were in their prime.
I hate to say it but there’s just a lot to complain about, eh hem…still no spec code email…eh hem
I have my own complaints, but i know with time they’ll be eventually looked at and fixed, in the meantime, i rather just focus on enjoying what the game offers with friends.
People on here lack patience and rationality…
But there are the ones who aren’t being negative, some are the ones pointing out the issues and exploring ways to fix 'em (which is called constructive criticism).
