It’s a shame how toxic the forums for halo are. I thought Destiny’s forums were the worst but these easily compete with those which is sad. It’d be nice to have a forum where people didn’t whine and yell at each other but oh well.

Im assuming that “toxic” means people complaining about 343’s incompetence?

I think he is more upset by the fact that people are attacking each other. There are threads merely complaining that people defend 343 decisions. Let me remind you if we didnt have two sides to a debate than the conflicting idea would not exist. People are angry than someone disagrees with them and it is seen on both sides of the debate. Those that like the decision are getting mad at those that dislike them and vise versa. This forum sadly is not focusing on critiquing as it should be (some posts are very well thought out, I will not deny that) a majority of posts seem to be just rants and the thread slowly turns into one consisting of people attacking each other.
That’s what I think OP means
You figure out the needless whiners pretty quick and learn to ignore them, almost pity them in some cases. Then you realize who has actual criticisms and points about the game they’d like changed, and it’s fun to engage those. I like finding out what parts of Halo people enjoy.
It’d be nice if these forums had an ignore function, because there are some users whose tears got old years ago.
But, you won’t find any public gaming forum that isn’t loaded with a bunch of people upset they didn’t get everything just the way they want it.
