- Tea-bagging - Trash-Talk - Spawn Killing - Camping - Quitting or Dashboarding (Personally I don’t think there should even be a way to quit a match but that’s a different post) - Trolling (Whether its intentionally losing or otherwise) - Farming - AFC(ing) -> Away from Controller - Anything I missed? These all have been happening ever since before I even started playing Halo. No matter what you do, there will always be people who do One of these things that you don’t like. Some gamers are hateful people and there is no way around that. Whether you are for the Banhammer or against it. Whether you trash-talk or mute you mic. Whether you play competitively or just enjoy trolling people. Halo is a GAME. A win here or a loss there isn’t going to kill you or ruin your day. If it does, well, you got some growing up to do.

I feel you just proved your point against yourself…Plus I wasn’t complaining. It was more of a “Can’t we all just get along” post.
Since you mentioned Spawn Killing and Farming as seperate things, care to elaborate where in previous Halo games farming was a thing? I’m generally curious, must’ve forgotten where that was “a thing”.
And as a side note, I don’t see how bad behavior that used to be a thing, and used to be -Yoink-, is now supposed to be considered alright because, y’know, it used to be a thing before… kinda a weak argument isn’t it?

So take your frustrations and shove it eh?
Well that doesn’t really contribute much. Also, again, just because it’s been happening for a long time doesn’t mean we should just shrug our shoulders and say ‘Ah well.’ If its something that is producing a negative experience for the community don’t we owe it to the community to try? We may not be able to get rid of all or of some entirely, but isn’t it worth the effort?
I’d love for all of us to get along. It would start with certain parts of the population to stop being Yoinks, and I don’t see them doing that willingly.

Go into any object gametype of any of the Halos and you have people farming for Kills to pad there K/d. It is not a new concept in any way. I never said they were alright. Obviously Im against Quitting and AFCing but the others are all a part of gaming and its history. Everyone acts surprised when someone camps, farms for kills, or T-bags them. Also, its not that it used to be a thing, it will always be a thing. There is no way around it, so we might as well get used to it.

why would i complain? i love these posts
This is why we can’t have nice things. Your motivation probably lies elsewhere OP, but it does come off like a complaint about complaints. That being said, the “deal with it” argument is akin to “adapt” and other nonconstructive suggestions.
Rather than join in on the madness and add to the growing rhetoric, report and move on, or just move on if it’s not an offense. The best method for stopping the craziness on the forums is to not participate in it. Don’t become part of the problem. I know it’s easier said than done, but realize you are feeding into it by contributing a post to it.
