So I haven’t played BTB since WZ FF came out since all the new additions were focused heavily on Warzone and some extra additions for normal Arena. Decided to hop into BTB and found myself joining a game in progress on Deadlock. As soon as I spawned in, I found my team under siege from an enemy Warthog supported by a Wasp. They’ve been added to the dishes above the bases and have a quick respawn (not sure of exact time but once one when down another soon spawned).
If you’ve been wanting a reason to try BTB again or just want more of the Wasp since they never drop in REQ packs, there you go!
I’ll keep an eye out for anymore Wasps in the BTB playlist!

I doubt there would be. They’re just too powerful. If we saw the return of Heavies then maybe one could be added.
Also glad to see one on Guillotine. The banshee just does not work on that map like it did in Reach and 2. Happy to see a new aircraft replace it.

Damn. You what map it might be good on? Recurve. That map is so -Yoink- that putting something so powerful on it might fix it!

Well the Gauss hog isn’t much better than the Scorpion that was originally there. Might as well make it an aircraft for the mad dash at the start of the match.

And given that a lot of the map is under a roof (at least the key places), and that the Rockethog would finally have a use on that map, it would work pretty damn well. I could probably get a group together to test it some day.

It’s actually pretty balanced. In the right hands it can get a killing frenzy before going down and it gives the turrets and spartan laser on the map more use. Hydras are also very deadly. Very welcome addition to the map if you ask me.
