If you get what I mean, Halo 4 is so fishy I can smell it all the way over here in the UK. Granted Reach smelled like a fish and chip shop but Halo 4 smells like a harbour. In no case do I enjoy fish, it leaves a mad taste in my mouth, it has a slimy and outdated texture, and sometimes I get the feeling that most fish are just imitations of one big fish.
The fish I am talking about is of course cod, this fish is particularly overhyped and overrated, at face value it really is one of the worst things you can possibly eat, from my experience cod is only bearable when coated with bread crumbs, in doing this you take away this slimy texture and it becomes moderately satisfying.
However, I do not want breadcrumbs on my Halo 4, makes me feel as if I am eating something which should taste inherently different, kinda like when I’m eating rubbery cheese. This is why that fishy aroma coming from 343 industries makes me afraid, fish is good for the brain but when you coat it in breadcrumbs it becomes very fatty.
While I admire the way you typed out your post it still doesn’t usher away my disappointment at having to stumble onto another one of these CoD threads.

The key word here is ‘battered’, there is a significant change being made here in order to make it edible, I know there are some true cod fans out there but how would you feel if that cod hadn’t been battered whatsoever?
I smell the same thing, however, Frank O’ Conor dispelled this a little for me when he was at RTX. He said, while it may seem similar, the second you use it and play with it, it has it’s own unique feel. He said, it was most closely based on a 1980’s game. Or some crap like that.
We all have the same concerns that we will be cod infested, and I think there is no way the developers don’t know that.

I wouldn’t play with anything that smells like fish, especially slimey cod.

for me, i smell Salmon, and Anchovies
i like salmon, but i never tasted anchovies,
i heard anchovies are good… so i’m willing to try them

For me, I love salmon. I’ve tried cod before and I didn’t like it, so I went back to salmon. Now it seems like my salmon is starting to look more and more like cod and I like it less and less.
We are talking about fish here, what’s there to argue about?
