Do you guys remember back when Frankie confirmed that Elites will not be playable in Multiplayer, but he then said “There’s something to scratch that itch”, well it got me thinking, what could possibly scratch that itch. What could replace Elites? maybe a unknown enemy that hasn’t be revealed yet? who knows. I seriously doubt that Promethean’s will be playable, because well… it wouldn’t really fit, but you never know. Hell, It may not even be a playable character in multiplayer, it could be something entirely different. You never no what 343 have got up their sleeve’s, so it makes me excited to see what 343 will do to scratch that itch. Here is the question, what do you guys think it will be?

That would make sense. Dominion for the invasion-esque gameplay and Flood mode for playing as another type of character.

Just my assumption, unless there’s an announcement yet to come? 
if not I’m happy with those two modes.
Sad that there’s no elites but I bet they’ll return in a future Halo game. Hopefully along with Invasion.

Dominion > Invasion (comes from the person who loves Invasion on BrakePoint more than anything in Reach)
so it scatched that itch but Elites maybe flood but I don’t think they’re similar
I thought it was Flood Mode. It’s the closest thing we’ve got to other playable characters.

I’t probably is Flood mode, was hoping for something more exciting. But I’m still extremely happy over Flood mode, 343 have gone all out.
I’d say Dominion is indeed a replacement for Invasion, which would scratch that itch (as that was basically the only place left to play as an Elite).
And the Flood replaces the Elites as the different skin to play in.
