goto 3:15 of this video from bravo halo4nation.com and you will hear that you can switch off the kill-cam, so theres no need to complain about this because it’s your choice and this just confirms from someone who’s played the game that the kill-cam is an option and you can continue to view your dead body as ussual if you wish. 343 knows what they’re doing so just trust them a little.
I think people are more upset about others using kill-cams to see them, Oh, and the few who said tea-bagging was dead.

I really hope there are no kill cams for team snipers. I feel like it would kill the purpose.
Darn beat me too it! I just finished watching that vid. Lol. But I hope that cheers some people up that were complaining about kill cams.

How in the hell would it defeat the purpose? You would watch exactly how he killed you till the moment of death. So, how does it kills the purpose?

i think he means that if you snipe someone from across the map it would be hard to know where they are but if you had kill-cam you could easily see where they are, insta-respawn and snipe them back. getting into a revenge fight the whole battle

They would know your position.
The majority of snipers prefer to stay hidden.

You can see a massive bullet that glows and left dust trailing you to your shooting position.

A decent sniper can catch a guy unaware or looking the other way. The reason people are complaining is because it’s more of an easy-mode way of finding the person who sniped you. I wouldn’t care about kill cams in regular modes, because the action takes players all around the map. In snipers, though, players tend to play it a bit slower, so kill cams could ruin some of the old tactics.

Uh, I think he meant that he just skipped the killcam so he could check his loadouts.
Killcams are great actually. I like the idea and being able to turn them off in custom options is great too because when you’re playing a highly competitive game the last thing you need to know is how you just died. You want to be using your death screen to aid your team mates with callouts etc.

Fix’d
Been saying this for a while. In games with Kill-Cams, press down or up on your D-Pad to switch to your deathcam or a teammate’s cam.

sorry, never saw it, but thanks for the info. i also hear it was in an early stage when it was used at NYCC and messed up alot so I hope its fixed or i’ll just turn it off every time and yeah you don’t exactly “turn it off” you more just press a button to skip it i don’t know which one though.
