I like the commando a heck of a lot better than I’ve ever liked the DMR. The only reason I ever used the DMR was because it was the only rifle available or it was the strongest (in the case of 4 before they did the title updates).
I’ll take a Commando any day
Ideas and suggestions are the spice of life and sources of endless wonderful conversation and should oft be stoked. But nevertheless these are merely whims of the imagination not as they are, but as we wish them to be. Even ideas can be challenged however.
Passing imagination and/or speculation off as objective truth when it’s glaringly false or conflating divergent mechanics as synonymous hurts the conversation even with the most admirable of intentions.

Just to clarify, is there a plan to add weapon customization in the form of attachments (a claim)? Or is that what you think or speculate will happen (an idea)?
Note: Bullpups do not have short barrels. Bullpups have the same barrel length in a smaller space because the magazine and bolt assembly are all behind the grip. The barrel length is observably unchanged. All that’s honestly changed is the removal of the scope.
Oh I know, as a guy who has shot a few and worked on a few. Yes. I know how they function. When I say shorter barrel I mean externally/visually. Yes. You can get shorter barrels for bull pups. Normally many bullpup rifles come with 16’in barrels. But it’ll look short. The dmr is sporting a much much longer barrel. (At least 20 to 25 inches, maybe longer). So, if you give it a shorter (not too short, like 16”, 15” or maybe 14”inches worth of barrel will work with that sort of gun (on the dmr). For obvious reason you wouldn’t get a barrel so short it’s literally hidden inside the gun. Gasses expelled would pulverize that polymer body…
If I worded something to make you think I don’t know how they function plz correct me. But yes I do have understanding on them.
If you know so much then don’t leave yourself open to looking like you don’t. If you really paid attention, you’d have noticed the Muzzle Brake / Flash Hider is different. Mostly the same rifle but there are tiny differences.

Same here. Decent chance you might have fired and maintained more than me but, I have several consultants! Regardless, the Bandit’s only real difference seems to be what’s on the end of the barrel + perspective. It seems largely identical.
sucks it doesn’t have a scope tho, that was one of the key features of the gun. I mean. Probably just a concept piece and the finished product will probably have some sort of optic at release of the weapon. Maybe.
Lmao. Bet if they ever did a customization option for the weapons one of the options is a shorter barrel. I’d make a mod and make it god-awful looking AND a 2 inch barrel. Every shot you take damages shields because the gas expels to your hand 
maybe after a couple shots throw in an animation from say, the plasma pistol overheat animation when you swing your hand away. Add that in the mix so after 5-7 shots your hand can’t take it anymore. Or your shields. What was it, irl I got to check out a ar-15 that had a 2inch barrel (I have zero idea how they got it to cycle and re-chamber for the life of me, the gas tube literally poked out further than the barrel itself) but the actual projectile of the bullet could be visible as it literally protrudes from outside the barrel!!! It had a very good shot group too. The range was “ok” I guess but man. That things the ultimate cqc weapon of choice right there!!! 343i needs to take some notes 
In all seriousness they need to make a cqb weapon. Be it in pistol or rifle caliber. I’m tired of the game only giving us mid-long range weapons when the game is focused on close range engagements.
I mean we DO have the Sidekick and Bulldog, both of which are absolutely lovely CQC weapons.
