I have several Early Access games in my Steam library. Nearly all get more content drops then Halo: Infinite gets. And these are indie developers.

That speaks volumes in regards to the competence of 343 as a developer.

Times really have changed, when people just accept terrible launches and broken games and excuse every problem with “Oh well… well it MIGHT get better eventually! Just hang on!”

People shouldn’t have to “hang in there a little longer” and “try and remain positive”, they should be having fun playing the game, not sitting around bored and waiting for content that should’ve been there in the first place.

Literally me, how many years have I been in this forum supporting and defending 343i? How many times have I been understanding and defended that his handling of lore and history has been good? It has reached a point where it simply does not come out of me to defend them or be understanding, they have completely exhausted my patience.

Remaining positive in a world where negativity is what is popular is challenging for people to stay focused. I truly believe in this studio and game. I find joy when I play it so, I’ll continue to play it.

ignoring reality and living like nothing bad is going on around you is just as bad and evil as doing evil acts yourself pretending.

in addition continually supporting them especially at this point is like supporting them to make future game releases just as bad if not worse and this be the new go about model

I don’t think people are, or at least I hope people aren’t, mad at people for liking the game. What a lot of people say is that the game is good at its core.

The issue that I think a lot of people have is when people ignore issues with the game and the studio producing it. It comes off as, regardless of the intent, waving away criticism directed toward the game.

Its already been long enough. Games like Destiny, apex, fortnite and other games are continuously releasing exceptional content on a regular basis, whereas 343 can barely scrap together anything in a 10MONTH PERIOD.

Theyre not the answer anymore and im tired of waiting.

Bungie is straight wrecking the content game on a month basis. 343 cant keep up with other games. We need a fresh perspective. Theyve had 10+ years to fine tune their process.

I totally understand, respect and agree with everyone’s frustration, everyone is right with what they have said…
343 haven’t done a good job the past 10 years i am totally in agreement - H4 and H5 were not great when you compare it to what bungie made.
The point i was trying to make with the destiny comparison was that this time around i believe 343 HAVE made a ‘decent’ halo game at its core (something they did not do with H5 at least)- the foundations of this game are a lot more solid. HOWEVER, yes, there is still no content, features are missing, there is endless bugs and problems, the shop is a complete hellspawn. Its 100% a mess and 343 shouldnt of let this happen at all. But in my eyes, these are all issues that will be fixed and go away within the next year and what we will be left with (eventually) is a decent halo experience.
I absolutely did not mean to rattle anyone or cause ‘toxic positivity’ - if you do not like infinite at all as a game then understandably you are probably never going to like it and i respect that you are disagreeing with me.
For all the people that do like this game and wanna see it succeed - i pray eventually one day we will be eating good.

People are frustrated. Don’t let us get you down.

People are complaining because they want to enjoy the game. They want to emotionally be where you are. Their experiences prevent that. But they do want to be able to get where you are. Just something to keep in mind.

I think forge- if it has the appropriate social stuff- is going to tear the apathy a new superfluous behind. I think time will show you’re correct. But i think it’s going to be rough getting there.
