Personally i think it’s too early to show an Halo4 trailer, their main goal is to hype and promote Anniversary as much as they can.
There might be, might not. Right now, seems more likely that there won’t, since 343i never said anything. They could surprise us, but its really not necessary. We did, after all, get a look at the Halo 4 Warthog and a bunch of great CEA stuff.

Woah, no need to attack us, were all here because we love Halo, we all expect stuff we may not get, but come on lets all be honest.
It’s another year before the game is released, it’s to early for Gameplay.
What do you expect them to show/talk about for an hour? A picture of chief and community questions which can’t be answered because they haven’t showed anything.

you know about as much as everyone else and are obviously free to speculate about what they will/will not release at Halo Fest like the rest. but doing so in this manner is not really nice and is ultimately pointless.

Someone has their -Yoink!- in a twist. It wasn’t confirmed there’ll be one but it also wasn’t confirmed their won’t be one either. So stop moaning. Maybe people are getting their hopes up, so? Let them, we can only hope and dream.

Is it so bad to get our hopes up? There’s going to be a live stream of a panel or discussion concerning Halo 4. A trailer hardly a big leap, it’s a fairly logical one.

bs angel can talk about how ‘good’ she is at Reach for hours, surely 343i as a whole could discuss that for an hour

So maybe there won’t be a trailer, but they have to give us some sort of new info. One of the Anniversary vidocs said we will here more about Halo 4 @ Halo Fest and 343i is having a whole panel about Halo 4, they can’t sit there at the Halo 4 Panel and not talk about Halo 4.
Just to say to everyone, don’t get your hopes up with the Halo 4 Panel, frankie said that you will expect some new info, but not everything you will expect normally.
Why are we wasting our time arguing over WILL THERE or WON’T THERE be a Halo 4 trailer. We won’t know until 10AM Sunday! This is getting a little out of hand. Maybe there will be and we have nerdgasms or maybe they’ll just show concept art, plot and codpiece jokes for an hour. Who knows.

This seems plausible. New info is nice, but a new trailer is asking for a bit much at this point.

Exactly. The game comes out late next year. That’s ages away. They won’t show any big material until at LEAST summer next year. Maybe at E3 most likely. But, like I said, if we do see a trailer then that just makes 343i even that much more awesome. Don’t get your hopes up too much.

in other words, YOU are going to be sad that you made a fool of yourself on waypoint for talking so rash, people in the forums are free to roam and question, just cause they dont always get answers dosent put them in the wrong. and it would be a pointless 60 minutes to show the teaser that everyones already seen, and just talk about that for an hour…

This. While a H4 trailer would be nice, I don’t expect one. Maybe around Christmas as part of advertising the whole Halo franchise, but not now. I think it’s too soon.
