First, let me state that I can’t prove what I’m telling you, so take it with a grain of skepticism.

As a student attempting to break into the Game Dev industry, I know a few people who’ve made it in thus far; and recently talked to one of my acquaintances who apparently was working on the Crimson map pack.

Apparently, that studio was supposed to start work on the 4th map pack some time soon, which would’ve included 4 new maps. However, due to the declining Halo 4 population, the 4th map pack got scrapped a short while ago.

While I don’t know you and don’t trust your sources at all, this sounds completely feasible.

You might be gruntsworthy, but are you trustworthy?

I honestly don’t mind if there was never going to be a new map pack, because there are other things that I think deserve more attention in this game as is. I just home they aren’t scrapping support for this game entirely, because if they really want this franchise to maintain popularity through future titles, this game still needs some major attention.

This is completely false. Before the game came out, when the limited edition was announced, 343 said it would contain a war games map pass that included 3 map packs. I understand “There could be more!” But when has a season pass not covered every bit of dlc?

Could have been only for the set of 3 map packs, and a second pass for 3 more.

But the other 3 were scraped due to population drop.

I’m pretty sure 343i said Castle is not the last DLC.

Yeah since when do Halo map packs come with 4 maps? Not saying its impossible but it just doesn’t seem to fit with how Halo DLC traditionally works.
