There was a problem with the dedicated server.

Every time i start a matchmaking i get this error now. It kicks me out of matchmaking. Then i retry, and it is always followed by a 2nd error “Your request has timed out” but that one doesn’t kick me out or it just sits at “1/4 Continuing to Search…” forever until i cancel matchmaking manually.

very frustrating. I know this is an issue thats been around, but all my searches yielded threads from like 2015 with no answers and most had posts that were all aggro about bumping old threads so suit yourself i made a new one

Hello Spartan. This is how if fixed my error message and disconnect issues

In router settings:

  • Give the xbox a unique assigned IP address. - Create a port triggering rule for the ports required to use XBLPort Triggering - Port Triggering is typically used to facilitate Internet gaming or chat and other specialized communication protocols. Port Triggering rules are used to dynamically forward inbound traffic coming into a specific port to a host device on your network.Outgoing Trigger Ports

  • UDP->88-88 - All->3074-3074 - All->53-53 - TCP->80-80 - UDP->500-500 - UDP->3544-3544 - UDP->4500-4500Incoming Ports to Open

  • UDP->88-88 - UDP->3074-3074 - UDP->53-53 - TCP->80-80 - UDP->500-500 - UDP->3544-3544 - UDP->4500-4500After being wired most of the time, I recently went WiFi. My connection is quicker on WiFi. Make sure you have an open NAT. This worked for me. Good luck.
