There definitely needs to be a Legendary edition for halo 5 not just some forgettable standard edition
SO what do you guys think should be the main attraction. Of the legendary edition of halo 5 (e.g master chief statue…)
There should be many things that come with the Legendary Edition.
The two main attractions should a physical item, such as a Master Chief statue, and a flashy in-game cosmetic item like armor or something like that.
What the guy above me said, along with a halo 2 anniversary disk. 
My idea for a Legendary Edition would be something like this:
-Cortana Chip: looks exactly like it does in game, is also a USB flash drive that contains many goodies such as Behind the Scenes shots, game commentaries, wallpapers, concept art and the OST.
-Another Halsey Journal: the first was awesome and the second is bound to be awesome too, with integrated sketches and Halsey’s viewpoint on life. It may be fun seeing her development alongside Jul Mdama, the Janos Key and possibly her point of view on the events of the game (should she have a big role in it). It will also please the anti-anti-Halsey people.
-Exclusive Armors and Skins.
-A Season Pass.
-A small (similar to AC4’s collector’s edition’s statue) statue of Master Chief holding an iconic weapon and standing on top of an enemy’s corpse.
-An Art Book.
-Exclusive Cover Art/Steel Box.
Give or take two of these and you’ve got yourself an awesome but pricy Legendary Edition.
Here are some things that they must have:
-A statue of Master Chief holding Cortana’s data chip
-very cool looking in-Game armor, exclusive to the legendary edition
-Multiplayer DLC, exclusive to the legendary edition
-Firefight DLC, only if firefight is to return, exclusive to the legendary edition
-Weapon skins, exclusive to the legendary edition
Here are some things that they should maybe have:
-Original soundtrack
-Halo 2 Anniversary if one is made, maybe if H5 comes out before H2A then that would be all the more reason to get the legendary edition so you can get H2A early
-Free Matchmaking pass for all DLC’s
They should also release the legendary edition right before the standard edition, maybe a week or so difference, this would give you more reason to buy it. There should also be a heroic edition that just has less content.

The Cortana Chip USB sounds really cool, I also like the idea of an artbook and Halsey’s journal.

Was Halo 2’s forgettable?
Also I think the Legendary edition should be saved for Halo 6.

As long as it comes with its own chain, I’m sold.
Any kind of cool Halo Item is fine for me, although I am a bit fed up with all the exclusive skins.
If the armor is on the disk, than I expect to be able to unlock it by playing the game, not paying more for the game.
