There should be a fee for kids 15 and under.

Any reasonable person knows that kids ruin games. It doesn’t matter what game I am on, every time I encounter a little kid, it ruins my experience for the following reasons:

*kids distract from the game with their whiny sniveling voices

*they are stupid and don’t know what to do most of the time

*they team kill

*they scream in the microphone when they don’t get their way

*they say the dumbest stuff ever

Yes I know there is a mute feature, but there since there isn’t a feature that allows me to kick kids from the game, my day will still be ruined because of the team killing and the not-knowing-what-to-do problem. We obviously cannot stop parents from letting their kids play halo 5, but I’m sure 343 can implement a fee of $10 per month to allow your kid to play halo 5. Anybody caught allowing their kid to play halo 5 without paying the fee would be permanently banned. They could probably even write software for the kinect 2 and use its camera to scan whoever’s playing to see if they are a kid or an adult. If it’s a kid, then they don’t play halo 5 unless the fee has been paid.

Here’s why I think it would benefit both matchmaking and 343. It will significantly reduce the amount of kids playing halo 5, and 343 will make more money. It’s a win win for all of us.

No. Just No. You can’t charge a specific age group for what some of them (even if its the majority of them) do. They have rights, same as you and me and everyone else on this planet is supposed to be entitled to.

You can’t say that after 15 years of age (or any age, for that matter), people won’t do the things you listed. It simply isn’t true. Its part of human nature that some of us/them are going to be rather irritating and incompetent at some things. That doesn’t mean that they should be penalized for it any more than their own actions make them. Charging money doesn’t stop people from doing those things, either. It only makes your chances of coming across one such person more slim.

First off, should I even bother debating how outlandish it is to charge a specific group of people extra for an online service? “Any reasonable person” would know that’s impractical and downright silly.

Sounds like every 17 year old I know when they play a complex game.

Making a non-constructive post to a non-constructive post is, for some odd reason, still bad in the moderation teams’ eyes.

I’d edit.

How does wanting this make you any less of a child? The fact your even posting this means your actually breaking your 4th point to an extent. there are plenty of mature -15 year olds out there. I am 19 and i am telling you that you sound worse than alot of -15 year olds who play halo. And besides, 343 will really bring fans back this way.

bottom line, stop incurring snide and childish arguments.

May I ask, is there not a child inside all of us?

Many people scream into their microphones. I know a kid and his dad were cursing each other while playing a nice KotH match in H3.

Many people betray, whether it be for power weapons, vehicles, or for the heck of it. I’m fairly sure not all of them are 10 year olds.

And finally, if a fee is implemented, that is discriminatory.

You are way too rude towards kids. I see this as verbal abuse.

being 15 myself, i find this insulting.
i know many people my age and younger that very very mature online, and if someone’s being annoying wither mics, just mute them, they’re not THAT common

Betrayers and noobs aren’t always kids, there are a great number of Traitors that are over 18 as well

forcing anyone to pay a fee is just bad, 343i will get a LOT of hate for that, it’s not going to happen

Ignore this people, its a troll. its the same account as the C"Concerned Mother" topic on the Halo 4 forums, ignore it.
