I firmly believe that ordinance weapons need to be capped off, that is whenever a map has, say 3 sniper rifles simultaneously or 3 SAW’s, nobody else can recieve them through their ordinance. This would stop maps like ragnarok from becoming team snipers(except it’s more like team spawnkilling with 8 binary rifles) and maps like abandon from becoming team SAW’s, which is something I think needs to happen.
Basically if a certain category has too many weapons in one game(example snipers category is beam rifle binary rifle sniper rifle and heavy weapons category is rockets, splasers, and incindiary cannons). I propose a cap of 3 per category simultaneously per game.
I wouldn’t mind this, then again i’d want a tier system were power weapons that aren’t sniper/rockets can’t be earned while not on a spree whereas weapons like shotgun/sword/needler can. That’s just me though.
That’s been one thing that has been irking me with the ordnance system: on larger maps, there seems to be a neverending stream of sniper weapons. I wouldn’t necessarily want a complete cap, but at least a limit on the amount of power weapons that can be received.
personal ordnance drops should be restricted to semi-power weapons such as shotty, needler, scatter shot, concussion rifle, saw.
Dropping sniper weapons every 2 minutes kills map movement on larger maps. Dropping heavy ordnance such as lasers is turning the warthogs into free double kill death traps.
IMO game changers like the saw, rockets, as sniper, etc should all spawn on the map periodically instead of through ordinances. a 530 to 500 game when someone get a sniper, and the losing team comes back to win is something I’ve experience more than once.

This. I want to get the mounted turret mastery but calling it suicide would be an understatement.

Yeah I would like to see a reduction in snipers and explosives as well. I feel like personal ordinance should be grenades, power ups, and maybe lesser weapons, if any guns at all.
add shotguns to that list… this game has become the AA game either active camo or promethean vision and add insult to injury on those you get shotguns with ordinances … I thought 343 wanted to solve the camping problem yet they worsen it
Why can’t they just make it so everybody gets the same ordinance? I’m sick to death of getting, say the choice between a few grenades and an overshield while someone else pulls out an incineration cannon, I just don’t really see how this is fair.
