Yes, there 100% needs to be a beta. Why? Because 343i is kind of new to Halo all around as you could say. And Halo 4 is the first game that they will make 100%. Like multiplayer campaign and such. There NEEDS to be a beta so we can see and test out whats goin on. Anyone agree?

What happened to Battlefield 3?
Hopefully there is a beta that comes with Halo anniversary
The battlefield 3 beta wasn’t a game demo… It was to stress test the servers, betas are for testing the game not demoing it before you buy it

It had some server problems and glitches that people -Yoinked!- about alot even though it was a beta.
Also halo 4 does need a beta.
Definitely agreed but I think that just as important is that 343 needs to actually listen to feedback given on the beta.
Just having a beta doesn’t mean jack if they don’t listen to people, Bungie already showed us that one.
The concerns with Reach were numerous, very concise, had known solutions and are still problems today… but what did they do? They made AL stronger and shipped it out the door. GG.

There was a miscommunication with the audience.
Like the guy above me said it was more of server stress test but that was not made clear. Only people who like to stay informed would have known this.
General society does not like to stay informed.
People also mistake the word “beta” for “demo”.
So they put out a fairly old version of the game that has more than a few bugs and glitches and people start yelling and screaming that they’re cancelling they’re pre-orders because there is no way they will fix this game in time for release.When in fact the glitches and bugs seen in the beta are not found in the actual product.
Thank goodness for the electoral college.
Most likely yes there will be a Beta for feedback like 343 said that they will listen to the community so yeah indefinite there will be a beta. Halo forever!

The Spikers were perfect and useful and the tripmine worked as intended…
People cried…
The spikers are now trash and the tripmine is about the equivilent to running over a turtle.
The tripmine basically screamed at you if you got close and if you were dumb enough to run it over you should die every single time.
343i please bring back the beta tripmine for Halo 4
