There is nothing pro about Slayer Pro.

I would really like to see this piss poor gametype out of matchmaking when 343 takes over. Why do people keep voting for it? What fun do they find in it?

While I agree that having no Armor Abilities other than Sprint in it is a good thing, I have to say that one side starting with stickies is a horrible idea. If they really wanted it to be Slayer Pro, there would be one loadout:
DMR/Magnum
2 Frag
No Armor Ability

Also with no radar in the game.

Pros: there are no AA’s/radar in it.
Cons: 2 plasma grenades on the start.

Don’t like it? Don’t vote for it.

What’s so bad about it? It’s basically normal Slayer with DMR starts and less Armor Abilities. Definitely more “pro” than normal Slayer, at least.

I agree. I suggest you propose that in Bungie’s Optimatch forum, or wait until August 2nd and propose it here. 343I is taking over Reach’s maintenance on the 2nd. However, I believe sprint should stay. If you want no armor abilities, try playing Team Classic.

I like slayer pro better than regular slayer simply because there is no radar. I always play using sprint and a DMR anyway so the loadout changes don’t effect me. I love not having radar because it makes 1v1 encounters a lot more challenging and encourages more communication.

Halo was designed around having radar so, I think Slayer Pro (Team Beatdowns) is a trash gametype that should get scrapped.
