Now the joking title aside. I see there is a SAW on Team Arena picture with a spartan holding it but there is no SAW at all in the game mode. i have played tons of matches on Team Arena and there hasn’t been a match with SAW in it. But the picture shows a spartan with a SAW. What’s up with that?

ya im tired of overused weapons. like really, the only beam rifle is in a CQC map. there is only 2 good sniping spots. why couldnt they, in an update, replace the sniper rifles in BTB Basin with beam rifles. i would prefer that than almost every map having SR on it. there is so many rehashed weapons. BTW i dont see Fuel rod as much. Riptide was the first to see it in MP. was it on other maps? and also what happened to mantis n scorpion on BTB. totally lame its gone. and no Phaeton?
SAW you can use only in warzone , but agree with you that its a lot nicer power weapon than rocket launcher and fuel rod, I would eliminate those 2 from arena at all.

yeah the fuel rod is on truth or regret (one of them) as well. I think the plasma caster and rail gun are more prevalent now that I think about it. they took off the scorpion on that big team map cause it really couldn’t go anywhere due to size. I think the gauss hog was a better choice. as far as the mantis, idk why they took it off. I thought it was a good counter to the banshee on the one map. I can’t remember the name of it though. lol I too would like more of the beam rifle. especially on big team maps. I would definitely like to see a phaeton. I love using those.

i just want to see every weapon n vehicles able to be used 2 maps at least each in BTB maps. we have only 1 SPNKr on BTB and everyone camps it like the Banshee in the other map. there is only 1 wraith too. but yet we have a -Yoink- ton of sniper rifles and regular rocket launchers.

I’m not sure I fully understand what you’re trying to say here. But the different stances that you unlock through req packs that change the pose of your Spartan can also show him/her holding different weapons. My Spartan is always holding a saw.
I just noticed that last night too. Maybe one day it’ll happen. I’m in favor of a lot more variety in power weapons. I’d even like to see a Warzone variant of a weapon pop up once in a while. Maybe just once per match where there’s a Fuel Rod Cannon, have it spawn as a Light of Urs instead or something like that.
They’re also working on Fiesta for the next update, though, right? I wonder what the weapon pool will be for that. Maybe then we’ll get to play with SAWs.

Reading comprehension. He’s talking about the picture that appears while you hover over “Team Arena” in the Arena Multiplayer player lobby. It has a SAW in it while there is no SAW in the playlist.

It’s probably because Arena is all about skills and getting your hands on those weapons and effectively using them fits that criteria.
The SAW isn’t really considered a skillfull weapon as it’s easy and powerful.
Nonetheless I do agree that we need some other power weapons other than the Railgun, Rocket Launcher, Fuel Rod, Sniper Rifle and your occasional power up.
The new map Riptide went the right direction with the Beam Rifle, yet again the Fuel Rod…
Its just a picture to keep people coming back. There was no real intent on having a saw in arena.

well if saw isn’t intended in the game mode, which i feel it can do just fine in it, they shouldn’t show it because it doesnt accurately represent what is and isn’t in the game type. but seeing the saw can easily be beat by BRs i feel to use it effectively comes with it’s own challenges in game.
Same with with a DMR in SWAT… Now that annoys. DMR SWAT 343i… Plz… I fan.

I think SAWs are a little too OP for Arena, lol.
The ANSWER to your question is the ANSWER. It’s the greatest weapon in all of Halo. Exploding bullets and lots of them.
So after I saw the thread about sawing the saw I went to arena and saw that there was in fact no saw to be sawn
