It’s just an inconsistent mess. So now my controller settings stay the same, frame stays the same but everything on my gameplay tab ( weapons offsets, visual effects, enemy color, reticle thickness,) all that stuff keeps resetting every time I play. FOV keeps going back to 78 which sucks. It’s a major pain

Now that you mention it my frame rate is no longer resetting, so they have changed something there.
I’m now trying another full reinstall to see if that fixes anything for me but even if it does imagine how many people would give up on the game rather than download 70GB again.
Edit: I am thankful my controller settings have stayed throughout because they would take the longest to change.

From day one of the new season it’ has actually never messed with my controller settings. Not sure why but mine never did change although a bunch of other stuff resets every time. It was interesting to me how big a difference controller setting/sensitivities and FOV numbers changed the aim so significantly. since my FOV was being reset I tried a low (default) FOV and definately was hard to adjust to. I usually play around 108 so dropping to the default 78 was like playing in zoom mode but you can’t see hardly anything off to the sides and aim is all over.

Let me know how that goes as my settings has just reset again… I thought it was fixed as it didn’t reset yesterday. I even tested it multiple times and it was fine. Spoke too soon.

The frick you mean “where does it state that?”? He’s having the same issue I am. You load the game and all the settings have been reset to default. WHAT’S TO STATE?! YOU FREAKIN’ SEE IT!

I also didnt ask because I didnt believe him, i asked because I wanted to know if it was an official problem and I wasn’t just going crazy on why even my aim was off.
But i guess thats the downfall of reading everything negatively.
Full reinstall didn’t help my resolution and frame rate issues. 120Hz still looks terrible but it’s playable. Some things are nice and clear others look awful. The actual oasis part of the Oasis map is the worst. 60Hz actually makes me nauseous to watch. So much jitter. I don’t think it’s just frame rate issues. Other Spartans jump back and forth rapidly like it’s playing frames out of sequence.
I’m still getting my settings reset every so often but it seems like it’s less and less of them. The latest time it only reset my accessibility tab when the cutscenes played again.

Settings reset, AI reset, surprised it has not reset my armor cores (yet).

I just noticed this morning that it removed all my favorites for the customization.

Have not booted my game yet and won’t untill a patch comes out to fix the issues you just talked about. Especially the settings resetting. That would drive me insane.

It’s getting kind of ridiculous that it’s approaching two weeks since they rolled out an update that broke a lot of things for a lot of players and they have barely spoken about it. They released one small patch that mainly fixed forge things and other long standing issues that were unrelated to the latest update.
No estimates on any other fixes and barely any acknowledgment of the scope of the problem. I honestly would have played more in the last 2 weeks if we were still on the Winter Update.
