In one of the spartan ops pics, one spartan is shown with a jetpack (it looks similar to the thruster pack, but the flame is a different color and he’s obviously floating)
> Just to clarify this for those of us that do not know yet, the jetpack is not coming back. HOWEVER there is a Thruster Pack, but all it does is launch you in the direction your moving. So essentially its just the replacement for evade.

i didnt notice anyone use it when i was at RTX. But as i said in a earlier thread, I didnt see a sentry either, so both could be just left out of the build.

There is a lot that isn’t being shown at RTX and Comic Con that will are still waiting to be revealed and/or confirmed.

…yeah, crap I forgot about camo. Cant say I saw that either. I only went against PV, Thruster pack, Hardlight shield and hologram.
Perhaps 343 took them out for ‘questioning’. Maybe they’ve taken into account the complaints of jet pack and camo (the latter as a AA and not a power-up.)

Regen Field is another one we have seen a glimpse of but no gameplay or official info. I think the reason 343i have not shown them in recent events is because they don’t want to give everything away about Halo 4 before launch. There will still be things we havnt seen at all or see much of even before release day.
There is also the fact that even the things we have seen (PV) and things we havnt (Jetpack) will be revised and possibly altered for the final build.

technically…i dont think sentry or regen field were ‘legitimately’ confirmed. Same with sentry and jetpack (except the latter was seen in a screenshot that was released.)

if its in the game more than likely it will be in matchmaking
Why does everyone hate the jetpack? It has no real use in battle, but it’s great fun to -Yoink- around with.

Jetpack breaks the whole concept of Map control.
If your have made the effort to gain height or angle advantage on a map, someone with a jetpack can simply jetpack from any position and still hit you.
Also, if you have been reduce to ‘no shields’ and have ‘successfully’ escaped and found some cover, jetpack simply eradicates the effort you made by rising above the entire map and ‘one shooting’ you.

Only a fraction of the AAs were available in that demo. Camo, Jetpack, Autosentry, and Regeneration Field were not shown.
