Hey I agree with you a bit, but I think you are missing some points though. Now this is all my opinion so feel free to agree or disagree. I believe that the lack of diversity that stems from the playlists are because of the bugs and problems. The lack of ranking in other playlists is again because the game isn’t working 100% yet, so once they get that fixed they probably will implement ranking into everything else. As for removing everything exciting out of the game I disagree because with the multiplayer aspect of the game they are trying to cater more to the serious halo player ( not trying to sound like 343i only cares about them) , all the campaigns are the same that you remember if you played them. So I’ll assume that most of your problems are from multiplayer then. Just keep in mind the scope of what 343i tried to do, the game was rushed and released before it was ready and now 343i is making up for that, so don’t be surprised if/when they start adding new playlists.
I get kinda mad when Slayer BR (or any kind Slayer in general) gets picked every. single. game. It gets old real quick, yet it keeps getting picked.
Sometimes there’s even the option of either Slayer or King of the Hill, both on the SAME map, and for whatever reason people pick freaking Slayer for the 1000th time… really?
Its pretty damn annoying. I mean, Slayer is fun and all, but not every. single. match.

I have no doubts that they will be adding the playlists I have mentioned, The discrepancy is that we are going on 3 months, and the only online gametype anybody has played is Slayer BR. Im glad there are competitive gamers, I am a purely competitive gamer. But not just in slayer BR, I want to experience the full spectrum of Halo. Yes the bugs are an issue, but that doesn’t mean that the only playlist available should be Slayer BR, Halo became popular for no other reason than it’s completely unique sandbox gameplay, and I see no trace of that. Shouldn’t I have played on the new Bloodline (Bloodgulch) map at least once by now? When their playlist’s are so limited that we cant even experience all of the maps in a 3 MONTH period, I think there is a problem.
I won’t play the only ranked playlist because it’s nothing but team br. Last game I tried to play all 3 options were stonetown. You can’t release a game with only 1 ranked playlist! With only 5 maps! This isn’t COD.
Last thing we need is to further fragment the playerbase by adding yet more untenable and unpopulated playlists.

Then get rid of JUST ONE of the four playlists completely dedicated to slayer br. Why do we need hardcore and championship series? One or the other is fine considering they are exactly the same
I totally agree that we need more objective based playlists - I keep trying to vote up the objective games when they appear, but surprise surprise I always get Boring Repetitve Slayer…
How about this simple playlist. LIke another poster said before we don’t need more playlist to fragment the player base.

What made halo such a fun game in the beginning, before specific Team Slayer BR ranked matches, was the goal of aquiring good weapons so that your team can dominate, and starting off with BR’s(basically the only weapon you need if you know what you’re doing) ruines that aspect of the game. Halo is meant to be based around whoever gets the better weapons on the map wins. And part of the challenge is killing those people so they are no longer in power, which takes skill to do. There is no skill involved in everyone starting off with the best weapon(basically) and everyone only using that weapon and ignoring every other power weapon on the map cause they are useless after being given the BR at the start of the game & at each respawn.
I couldn’t believe how disorganized the multiplayer was until I tried to find a game. Mother of God. Why are there so many options? Do we really need HCE,H2A, H2, H3, H4, etc. Why not just group EVERYTHING under Halo and Objective based games like @Naitron4Ever suggested? What seems to have happened is that it’s far overly complicated than it needs to be. Go back to basics.
