There is a masive problem in this game with wallers something need to be done for real u can predit and hear foot steps and u can cancel spawns what u can’t is know where exactly they or where they are coming from 100% of the time yesterday had a couple of good game some close good loses and wins
And i get it they are good players outthere and better but come on u get pre naded u spawns and they are allready pushing you with no info no call outs the wallers alone are killing this game aim booters are less and less casual bit wallers are a plague on halo right now and is anoying … do something about it …dont whait a whole new year for it
Agreed. There’s another thread laying out the rampancy of cheating in infinite.
But to think some loser paid real money to cheat at this crappy game makes me just shake my head at some people’s need to win.
You laid out a counter argument within your argument.
While you’re right that it can’t be done 100% of the time, it’s fairly easy to identify and force spawns especially in small and/or boxed in maps with functional efficiency.
It’s not difficult to predict when and where players will spawn, it’s a staple in high level play. Not saying you didn’t go up against someone with walls, that’s entirely possible, but it’s hardly a “plague”.
Oh I completely disagree Trand0. All plagues start small before they’re out of hand.
With the little population that we have left, I cant go 2 days without running into at least one person using the wall hack.
Imagine how bad it would get if we had the population back?
Plague is the right word for it.
Unless I just haven’t noticed, I have not noticed any hackers. I do live in the US, so it’s possible I’m just getting more matches and the hackers and cheaters go elsewhere (or better matches), but it could just be that someone is better. Maybe they noticed a blip on radar, maybe heard footsteps, maybe just saw you slip around a corner.
When/how do we know it’s a plague though? I’ve heard synonymous language used to describe the issue ever since the first video of an aim bot in use went viral.
I’ve maybe run into 5 overt/suspect cheaters so far? Granted I don’t play nearly as much as I did a few months ago but if it was a pandemic then and it’s a plague now, then why have I not run into more assuming a plague is worse than a pandemic.
How do you determine with absolute certainty that an individual is wall hacking?
Not too horrible I’d imagine
Based on what? Your anecdotal evidence versus my own anecdotal evidence? Players posting misinterpreted theater clips showing how bad theater mode is at capturing actual objective gameplay? Players being shot around walls due to lag?
@xLEFx777x@Freak_A_Fan at the rate you hand out bait reacts, I’m beginning to think you don’t know what actual bait looks like
Based on when you played infinite last. We can start there. Assuming Trand0 is your main account of course and your not using a burner secondary account to play.
I mean, if that’s the situation you haven’t played infinite since May… almost 4 months ago.
No wall hacking offline I suppose…so I can see where you’re coming from.
I played last week, I dunno why it hasn’t updated.
I think the more important takeaway is your suggestion that people weren’t up in arms over the then current “epidemic” of cheaters running “rampant” in game.
So did it get worse? Did it stay the same? That’s what I’m trying to figure out in an objective fashion.
There was wall hacking in the one or two examples of overt cheating I sent off to support. Since then, haven’t seen much online.
Well, without a system to efficiently report every encounter, we can only go on players experience ATM and we lack the hard data to make a objective conclusion.
Having said that, here is my experience. That’s all I can give in terms of data.
I play alot of infinite. I’m at over 3000 games ATM, 450 hrs. So Its safe to say I go through alot of players in the course of a day/week.
I don’t play ranked due to my ping issues and I’m probably a high gold/low plat player skillswise. Most of my games are fiesta, BTB, tactical usually, and whatever the challenge im going after is. So it might be a game type preference thing.
But ive seen an uptick in the wall hack users. Mainly in fiesta and BTB (with the most blantant in BTB). To give you context, in the 24+ hrs since your original reply to me, I’ve ran into 3.
And to be clear, those were blatant users, watching their reticle track someone through the walls on replay. I have suspicion of another 2, but they were onyx level so either they were subtly using or just very good players with great map knowledge who got lucky, so I give those instances a benefit of a doubt, but still suspect in replay.
And players like that in most cases they don’t stand out in the standings either. This is why I think not alot of people notice them as much cause what they do (and this isn’t the blatant user mind you) is they go for 5-7 kills and then just stop. They’ll play behind a teammate for a period of time, and using pings direct their team. I’ve had my own teammates inexplicably ping random walls that had two to three enemies in them, which makes you go hmmm when your conscience of stuff like that.
After period of time, a few deaths, or the team gets behind in score, they’ll engage again and go on another killing streak.
And at the end, it’ll look like a player had a decent to good game. but when you look at the replay of the person your suspect of, you’ll see what was going on.
But most people just load into the next game never really being aware of what just happened.
You mentioned hearing but not being able to tell from where.
A couple recommendations, change your audio to compressed instead of dynamic. Get some good headphones and get Dolby Atmos.
I have a A40 with a mixamp i know where they might aproch most of the time but les say there are 3 lanes i know from what side there coming from but the the exact position or door they are coming from…
