There is a very surprising lack of armors

Considering how long this game has been in development, I was quite surprised when I first looked at the armors and saw how few options there currently are, seemingly not much more than what was there during the Tech Previews from what I can remember. I know the Battle Passes will continue to add more to the game but I was expecting a lot more than 6 or 7 different sets for the Mk.VII core. 2 or 3 of the armor sets come from the current Battle Pass, I think 2 of them are only available in the store, and one of them says Stay Tuned. That pretty much leaves just the default armor and a few sets you can earn from the Battle Pass. I know there’s more armors with the Reach armor core too but the game’s armors shouldn’t be mostly comprised of armors from a prior Halo game with very little new armor and then lock those few remaining armors behind a pay wall. I was just expecting a wide variety of customization options and so far we have very little and that very little is either very, very time consuming to earn or cost money. Don’t get me wrong, I’m really glad to finally have Halo Infinite multiplayer in my hands and that it came out early and I’m enjoying the game itself so far but I can’t help but be disappointed too. And I know this is a “beta” but it sounds like the entire launch multiplayer suite is there so this is all there would still be at launch minus the Fracture event coming up soon so the game being a beta isn’t really a reason for the lack of armors

It also seems like there should be more weapon variety too but that’s a different topic and an issue that’s not too big of a deal as long as the weapons that are there all fit into certain kinds of situations/playstyles.
