I hear allot of people on these forums saying how there are so little competitive gamers on halo 4 well that’s wrong.
Most of community thinks that all competitive players play on slayer pro well that’s wrong also, the mlg playlist will be like infinity slayer(nothing like slayer pro) there will be only a few minor tweaks to the system such as no Promethean vision ,no invisible, and a couple perks will be out,no radar etc.
So i ask whoever thinks 343 should not cater to the competitive gamer’s please stop your making yourself sound like a troll.
There are allot of competitive gamer’s on halo 4.

I think 343 already knows there is a large competitive community that plays Halo… Thats why they had a MLG exhibition before the game even released!

The “regular” Halo community just wanted to be the ones heard over MLG people.

I swear its like if people have never heard of a higher caliber of skilled players. They think they are so good with Camo crouching and AR that they get butthurt when there is a higher set of skilled players. EVERY GAME has a higher caliber of players, yes they are better than you and they will always be better than you.

We need a FULL SKILL RANKING system to be completive, a progression system is based on how long you play, not youre actual true skill. Check out my thread about it and more info and leave feedback

Its funny cause the people over at Halo council are laughing at all the people here in the waypoint forums complaining.

I agree.
I still dont understand why people are so against having a separate ranked and social play list. It seems to me that the original h3 ranking and social lists are the best way to give everybody what they want. Just make a few ranked game types in their own playlist then give the casuals what they want in a social. Why is this even an issue. Does the halo community have their heads so far up their high school a**es that they cant see that it would solve the problem? If you want to be competitive play ranked. If you want to have fun with guests and play regicide, dominion and infinity slayer play social its as simple as that. Im so sick of this argument just make the lists so we can start getting along again and play some halo. Im tired of this childish back and forth bickering.

I’m okay with Ranked playlists. They are a neat distraction for some of the players who want the game to give them feedback on their skill level.

I can honestly say I’d rarely, if ever, play it. I reserve the right to suck when I want, thanks. I don’t always have good matches and I’d rather not play a gametype where I’d get punished for it. I don’t play Halo for the competition. I play it for the Halo.
